Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye's "Doctor Slump" Confirms Premiere Date

JTBC's Doctor Slump gears up for release. 

On December 5, the production team of Doctor Slump unveiled pics from the script reading session attended by director Oh Hyun Jong, writer Baek Sun Woo, actors Park Hyung Sik, Park Shin Hye, Yoon Park, Kong Seong Ha, Jang Hye Jin, Hyun Bong Sik, Yoon Sang Hyun, Oh Dong Min, Park Won Ho, Kang Sang Jun, Jung Ji Soon, and others.

Doctor Slump is an upcoming rom-com that tells the story of two doctors in a slump, trying to steer their lives out of the darkness. 

What has fans anticipating the K-drama is the chemistry between two of the most beloved Korean stars, Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye, who reunite ten years after working together in the 2013 hit series The Heirs. 

Park Hyung Sik plays Yeo Jeong Woo, a star plastic surgeon who falls into a slump due to a medical accident. He was always a top student and is well-known for his skills and personality. 

Park Shin Hye takes the role of Nam Ha Neul, an anesthesiologist suffering from burnout. She dedicated herself to her studies and had a bright mind since childhood. 

Yoon Park plays Bin Dae Young, a plastic surgeon who considers Yeo Jeong Woo his rival from their university days. But, he understands Jeong Woo better than anyone else. 

Kong Seong Ha plays Lee Hong Ran, Nam Ha Neul's best friend and an anesthesiologist. She has been with Ha Neul since college.

Veteran actress Jang Hye Jin plays Ha Neul's mother, Gong Wol Seon, and Hyun Bong Shik plays Ha Neul's uncle, Gong Tae Seon. Yoon Sang Hyun will be seen as Ha Neul's younger brother, Nam Bada. 

Additionally, there's Oh Dong Min as Min Gyeong Min, who has a close relationship with Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul; Park Won Ho as Kim Moo Geun, who has been with Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul since high school; Kang Sang Jun as Son Chan Young; and Jung Ji Soon as the homeroom teacher.

Doctor Slump will premiere on January 27. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
