"Moving" Star Lee Jung Ha Makes His Big-Screen Debut with "Victory"

Moving Actor Lee Jung Ha transforms into a soccer player in the upcoming K-movie Victory. 

Victory tells the story of Pil Sun (Lee Hye Ri) and Mi Na (Park Se Wan), who started the cheerleading club Millennium Girls in a school located in Geoje, the southern tip of the country, in 1999. It is the first cheerleading-themed K-movie. 

Actor Lee Jung Ha makes his big-screen debut with Victory. He plays the role of Chi Hyeong. Chi Hyeong is a goalkeeper in Geoje High School's soccer team, who has liked Pil Sun (Lee Hye Ri) for 10 years. 

Sometimes Chi Hyeong's enthusiasm gets ahead of him, but he will captivate viewers with his overflowing passion and humorous clumsiness.

Lee Jung Ha stated, "I liked that it was a movie that gives a message of encouragement. I felt empowered the whole time I was reading the script, and I was fascinated." He added, "I received training to play the goalkeeper. I wanted to show that I have many different charms and can do different things that require using my physical ability."

Director Park Bum Soo praised the actor, "As soon as I saw Lee Jung Ha, Chi Hyeong was already there. Lee Jung Ha himself is so charming that Chi Hyeong was actually tailored to fit him."

Victory will premiere on August 14.
