"Marriage Lyrics For Divorce Music" Breaks record for highest ratings In TV Chosun's history

TV Chosun's new drama "Marriage Lyrics For Divorce Music" is already breaking records with just two episodes.

The second episode of the drama "Marriage Lyrics For Divorce Music" aired on January 24 and it scored an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent. With this, they made history as the highest rating drama ever aired on TV Chosun. The drama also broke their personal record with 6.9 percent ratings for the first episode.

"Marriage Lyrics For Divorce Music" stars Sung Hoon, Lee Ga Ryeong, Lee Tae Gon, Park Joo Mi, Jeon Soo Kyung and Jeon Noh Min. It tells the stories of three married couples in different age brackets (30s, 40s, and 50s) and the struggles in their lives.

The drama is directed by Yoo Jung Joon and written by Im Sung Hah. This is the comeback drama of writer Im Sung Hah after 6 years. She is known for her beloved makjang (storylines full of conflicts and dramatical twists)  titles.

Sung Hoon plays the role of Pan Sa Hyun, who is the husband of Boo Hye Ryung(Lee Ga Ryeong). They are the couple in their 30s. The two characters have been married for three years  and are childless.

Shin Yoo Shin (Lee Tae Gon ) is the husband of Sa Pi Young (Park Joo Mi) and the director of a hospital’s neuropsychiatry department. His wife is a producer/director of a radio show and also a dedicated mother. 

Jeon Soo Kyung and Jeon Noh Min play the married couple in their 50s. Lee Si Eun (Jeon Soo Kyung) is a radio show writer while Park Hae Ryoon (Jeon Noh Min) is the dean of the department of theater and film at Sun Jin University. They have been married for 30 years.

The drama airs every weekends on TV Chosun at 9 PM KST and is also available on Netflix. Source
