Lee Tae Ri is confirmed to join the upcoming historical drama "Red Single Heart."
On March 1st Lee Tae Ri's agency Starhaus Entertainment revealed that the actor will be added to the cast of the KBS' Monday-Tuesday drama, "Red Single Heart."
"Red Single Heart" is a fictional historical series that revolves around Lee Tae, the enemy of King Sunjong who took the throne after the rebellion. The series will be directed by Yoo Young Eun ("Queen of Mystery") and written by Park Pil Joo ("Naeil's Cantabile").
Lee Tae Ri will play the role of Park Nam Sang, the only son of Park Gye Won (Jang Hyuk's character). He is a good official with gentleness and integrity, the best example of a scholar.
The upcoming drama will be led by MBLAQ's Lee Joon, Jang Hyuk, Kang Han Na, Park Ji Yun, Heo Sung Tae, Park Sung Yun, Choi Ri, Ha Do Gwon, Yoon Seo Ah, and Cha Soon Bae. Oh Seung Hoon and Park Ji Bin will also make a special appearance.
"Red Single Heart" will premiere in the first half of 2022. It will have a total of 16 episodes and will exclusively air on KBS.
"Red Single Heart" will be Lee Tae Ri's official return to the drama scene after two years. He last starred in the 2020 drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed." Even though Lee Tae Ri hasn't had dramas for two years, he did guest on dramas such as "True Beauty" and "Young Lady and Gentleman."
Lee Tae Ri is best known for being part of the cast of the dramas "Moon Embracing the Sun," "Rooftop Prince," "The Beauty Inside," "Extraordinary You," and more.
