Lee Kyu Hyung is confirmed to participate in the upcoming series "Happiness" directed by Ahn Gil Ho.
According to multiple reports on June 10, Lee Kyu Hyung will be making a special appearance in the upcoming tvN thriller drama "Happiness." He will be reunited with director Ahn Gil Ho who also directed the first season of "Stranger."
"Happiness" is set in a time where infectious diseases are prevalent. The city will crumble as a new type of infectious disease emerges, one that makes people suffer from violent thirst. The main characters will be played by Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo Woo Jin.
"Happiness" began filming last May. It will have a total of 16 episodes and will exclusively air on tvN in 2022. The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon, helmed by Ahn Gil Ho, and written by Han Sang Woon.
Lee Kyu Hyung will be joining the upcoming drama produced by JTBC and Netflix titled "All of Us Are Dead." He is also the new addition to the cast of the upcoming season of "Voice 4: Judgment Hour." The cast of the hit drama includes Lee Ha Na, Song Seung Heon, Son Eun Seo, Kang Seung Yoon, and more. He will also be part of the upcoming movies namely "Happy New Year" and "Handsome Guys."
The versatile actor was also part of several dramas such as "Prison Playbook" with Park Hae Soo, "Stranger" with Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na, "Hi Bye, Mama!" with Kim Tae Hee, "Doctor John" with Ji Sung, "Life" with Lee Dong Wook and Jo Seung Woo, "Hwarang" with Park Seo Joon, and more.
Aside from doing dramas and movies, Lee Kyu Hyung is active in musicals.
