Bae Hyeon Seong reportedly starring in Han Seok Kyu's new comedy K-drama
Actress Kim Min Hee and director Hong Sang Soo, who has been in an inappropriate relationship for nine years, will reportedly welcome their first child this spring.
On January 17, media outlets released the reports that actress Kim Min Hee is currently six months pregnant with Hong Sang Soo's child. Reports stated that Kim Min Hee is due this spring. Dispatch also revealed photos of the two together and they also shared that the two visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic several times.
Another media outlet questioned Hong Sang Soo's current wife and asked her about this news. According to the wife, she is not aware of Kim Min Hee's pregnancy and even thanked the media outlet for letting her know.
Kim Min Hee and Hong Sang Soo have confirmed their extramarital affair in 2017. Despite Hong Sang Soo still legally married to his wife and having a daughter with her, he still decided to be with Kim Min Hee. The director asked his wife to divorce him but it was rejected by court in 2019.
Having withdrawn from all domestic activities and Korean works, the two consistently attended international film festivals and fulfilled overseas commitments.

Kim Min Hee made her acting debut in 1996. She is known for being part of the works Hellcats, The Handmaiden, School 2, Look Back in Anger, Age of Innocence, Love Marriage, and more.
Hong Sang Soo is known for creating the films Right Now, Wrong Then, Hill of Freedom, The Day He Arrives, and more.
The two first worked together in the 2015 film Right Now, Wrong Then, and several years later admitted to their romantic relationship.
Last year, Kim Min Hee and director Hong Sang Soo worked together on the film By the Stream.
