Kim Soo Hyun is confirmed to return to the small screen with a remake of the hit BBC drama ("Criminal Justice") "That Night"! 

This remake will be the confirmed comeback drama of Kim Soo Hyun as he recently  turned down the Netflix's upcoming thriller drama "Finger". Back in November 2020, his agency shared that the actor was reviewing the casting offer for it.

The highest paid k-drama actor gave us healing and touching moments through his 2020 tvN drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" but this time, he's starring in a completely different genre. It is expected that Kim Soo Hyun will embody his character's role in a tension-filled plot.

The upcoming drama "That Night" will circle around the story of two men getting involved in a murder case. It is a remake of the United Kingdom's drama entitled "Criminal Justice" that aired on BBC.

The actor will work alongside Cha Seung Won. Kim Soo Hyun will play the role of a college student named Kim Hyun Soo that will be the main suspect of a murder. Cha Seung Won on the other hand will play as Shin Joong Han, a lawyer who barely passed the bar exam and the only person who is interested in extending a helping hand to Kim Soo Hyun's character.

Kim Soo Hyun has been receiving praises for his post-military promotions. Following the success of "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", many are already anticipating on how he will skillfully portray his character on the upcoming drama.

"That Night" is directed by Lee Myung Woo, who also worked on "Whisper", "The Fiery Priest", "Backstreet Rookie" and more. It is also written by Kwon Soon Gyu who's known for popular dramas such as "Warrior Baek Dong Soo" and "The Royal Gambler".

The drama will reportedly start filming on the first half of 2021 and the broadcast airing will be on the second half of the year.
