Koo Kyo Hwan will reportedly join the main cast of the K-drama version of the hit film Inside Men.
On December 26, media outlets reported that Koo Kyo Hwan would be reprising the role of actor Lee Byung Hun in the movie version. Koo Kyo Hwan will join the remake K-drama of Inside Men titled Inside Men: Prequel.
Koo Kyo Hwan's agency hasn't responded to the casting reports yet.
If Koo Kyo Hwan decides to join the upcoming K-drama Inside Men: Prequel, this will be his first official upcoming K-drama.
This year, the actor led the K-drama Parasyte: The Grey, which starred Jeon So Nee, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, Kim In Kwon, and Lee Hyun Kyun.
Koo Kyo Hwan was also part of the film Escape and showed amazing acting chemistry with Lee Je Hoon.
He is also set to star in the upcoming movies New Generation War: Reawakened Man, Finding the King, Us and Them, Colony, and Snowfall.
Inside Men: Prequel will expand the world view of the movie of the same name that premiered in 2015. The K-drama version will focus on the characters and events that happened in the 1980s and 1990s.
Aside from Koo Kyo Hwan, brilliant actor Song Kang Ho is confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama.
Inside Men: Prequel will be the next work of director Mo Wan Il (The Frog, The World of the Married, and Misty) and writer Lee Ki Chul (Alienoid 1, Escape from Mogadishu, and The Thieves).
Song Kang Ho will portray the role of Lee Gang Hui. He is a great personality who organizes and controls the board that moves South Korea.
Koo Kyo Hwan will possibly portray the role of Ahn Sang Gu, the political bully who handled all the messy happenings in the political and business world. This is the same character that Lee Byung Hun portrayed in the movie version.
Inside Men: Prequel is currently in the final stages of pre-production and aims to begin filming in 2025. The premiere date of the film is not finalized.
