After almost two years, Kim So Hyun will finally return to small screen in new drama series!

Back in September, reports stated that Kim So Hyun will be leading a new mystery romance K-drama. On November 11th, Kim So Hyun's agency IEUM Hashtag finally confirmed that the top actress will be returning to acting with "Useless Lies."

According to the agency, Kim So Hyun will work together with director Nam Sung Woo who also worked for the K-dramas "Love in Contract," "My Roommate Is a Gumiho," and "Kkondae Intern."

Kim So Hyun will possibly partner with NU'EST Hwang Min Hyun who is still in talks to be the male lead.

"Useless Lies" will revolve around a woman who cannot trust people because of her ability to hear lies and a murder suspect that no one believes in. She will get intertwined with the incident and will dig into the truth.

Kim So Hyun will play the role of Mok Sol Hee. She has the ability to hear lies and she believes that this special skill is a curse and not a superpower. Meanwhile, Hwang Min Hyun got the offer to play the role of the mysterious man Kim Do Ha, the best composer and producer in Korea.

Kim So Hyun was last seen in the 2021 Netflix original series "Love Alarm 2" and the hit KBS drama "River Where the Moon Rises." In 2022, the actress was not part of any projects.

Aside from "Useless Lies," Kim So Hyun will also join the upcoming K-drama "Is It Fate?" with Chae Jong Hyeop.

Kim So Hyun made her acting debut in 2006. She has starred in several k-dramas such as "The Tale of Nokdu," "Radio Romance," "The Emperor: Owner of the Mask," "Bring It On, Ghost," "Who Are You: School 2015," and more.
