Kim Min Ha has received the same casting offer as Geum Sae Rok for the upcoming K-drama 'Typhoon Bos

Kim Min Ha may be replacing Geum Sae Rok in the cast of Typhoon Boss.

On January 13, it was revealed that Kim Min Ha got the offer to be the female lead in the upcoming tvN K-drama Typhoon Boss. According to reports, actress Geum Sae Rok, who first received the casting offer, has officially declined to star in the K-drama due to conflicting schedules.

Kim Min Ha's agency responded to the reports and stated, "Typhoon Boss is one of the works that was offered to our actress Kim Min Ha. She is reviewing the offer and nothing has been decided yet."

This will possibly be Kim Min Ha's second upcoming K-drama. The rising actress will also lead the fantasy romance K-drama Way Back Love with Gong Myung, Jung Gun Joo, Oh Woo Ri, Ko Chang Seok, and Seo Young Hee. 

Kim Min Ha will also star in the upcoming films Day and Night to Each Other and A Girl with Closed Eyes.

Last year, the actress appeared in two OTT original K-dramas Pachinko Season 2 and Light Shop. 

Typhoon Boss will revolve around the struggles of Typhoon Company and their employees during the 1997 IMF crisis. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the latest work of director Lee Na Jung. She is known for creating the popular K-dramas Fight for My Way, See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Oh My Venus, The Innocent Man, and more.

Typhoon Boss will be led by Lee Jun Ho who will give life to the character named Kang Tae Poong. He is the current CEO of Typhoon Company. He will do everything to protect the family business that his late father built.

Meanwhile, Kim Min Ha will possibly play the character named Oh Mi Sook, the eldest daughter and the sales representative of Typhoon Company. 

Typhoon Boss will air in 2025 and it will exclusively air on tvN.
