Duty After School Trailer is Finally Out!

At last, tvN has released a trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Duty After School. 

The trailer commences with an alien object crashing from the sky.  

Then it shifts to a high school where the arrival of the military catches the attention of students. They are informed of the dire circumstances the nation faces and the government's course of action to tackle the situation. Students, expectedly surprised, are handed guns and trained as soldiers to fight the alien forces threatening Earth. The prize? Extra marks at the upcoming university entrance test. 

Will the desperate students - who have only held pens their entire lives - defend their nation from the colossal threat? And will the conflict, that comes with an opportunity to excel in the cut-throat competitive entrance exams, break their camaraderie?

By the looks of the trailer, Duty After School incorporates top-notch CGI and high-octane action. Moreover, the innocent high-school students facing gruesome creatures like soldiers in war will surely be a sight to see!

The K-drama will star Shin Hyun Soo, Im Se Mi and the rising star Kim Ki Hae, as the main leads of the sci-fi drama. In the supporting roles are Ahn Do Kyu, the "Weak Hero Class 1" actor Kim Su Gyeom, Shin Hye Ji Choi Moon Hee, and Lee Yeon, among others.   

The show is adapted from a webtoon of the same name written by Ha Il Kwon.

The screenplay of Duty After School is penned by the The Light in Your Eyes screenwriter Lee Nam Gyu. And the Class of Lies director Sung Yong Il is credited for helming the upcoming thriller. 

The drama will contain a total of ten episodes. More news about the drama's release date and broadcast on OTT platforms are yet to come.
