"Dr. Romantic Season 3" Release Date Has Been Confirmed!

The third season of the medical K-drama "Dr. Romantic" is all set for release! 

All the cast members from season 2 - including Han Seok Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Kim Joo Heon - have retained their roles in the upcoming season. Moreover, we will also get to see Lee Kyung Young as an addition to the star-studded cast.   The production team announced that Dr. Romantic Season 3 will premiere on April 14!

Considering how seasons 1 and 2 of the K-drama have received a warm reception, the third season is also expected to be a record-breaker. The first season commenced with a rating of 9.5% and slowly rose to a double-digit viewership of 27.6%. Whereas, the second season maintained a streak of double-digit ratings from the first episode itself and achieved its highest viewership rating of 27.1% for its finale. 

Amon its many other achievements, "Dr. Romantic" also won Grand Prize (Daesang) at ABU Prizes and Korea Drama Awards. Likewise, the talented cast bagged accolades for their terrific performances. 

"Dr. Romantic" tells the story of a group of doctors led by Kim Sa Bu (Han Seok Kyu) - an accomplished and skilled triple-board certified surgeon - who work in the humble Doldam hospital while trying to realize what it means to be 'real' doctors. 

The screenplay of the drama is written by Kang Eun Kyung, who also wrote the most anticipated K-drama that  Park Seo Joon and Park Seo Joon will co-star in, Gyeongseong Creature.  Bringing Kang Eun Kyung's story to screen is the star director Yoo In Shik, who directed other hit K-dramas like Vagabond and Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
