MBC's new mystery thriller Doubt has confirmed its release for October and unveiled script reading stills.
Doubt tells the story of the nation's top profiler who comes to know about his daughter's secret intertwined with a murder case he's investigating.
The script reading was attended by director Song Yeon Hwa, writer Han Ah Young, and actors Han Seok Kyu, Chae Won Bin, Han Ye Ri, Noh Jae Won, Yoon Gyung Ho, Oh Yeon Soo, Kim Jung Jin, Choi Yoo Hwa, Yu Eui Tae, and Lee Shin Ki.
Dr. Romantic actor Han Seok Kyu plays Jang Tae Su, a father who discovers his only daughter is connected to a murder case. He is thrown into an abyss where even his professional profiler beliefs and his relationship with his daughter are shaken to the core.
Chae Won Bin plays Jang Ha Bin, a high school student, who gets involved in a tense psychological battle with her profiler father, leaving prospective viewers curious about the secret she hides.
Han Ye Ri plays Lee Eo Jin, a member of the criminal behavior analysis team who prioritizes facts over emotions and events over people.
Noh Jae Won plays Koo Dae Hong, an empathetic member of the criminal behavior analysis team who is the complete opposite of Lee Eo Jin.
Yoon Gyung Ho plays Oh Jung Hwan, the leader of the violent crimes unit.
Oh Yeon Soo plays Yoon Ji Su, Jang Tae Su's ex-wife, and Jang Ha Bin's mother, a secretive character at the center of the father-daughter story.
