With only episodes 15 and 16 remaining, which will air on the 3rd and 4th, respectively, episode 14 ended with Cha Jung Sook (the main character) facing a sudden deterioration in her health and the need for another liver transplant, adding more tension to the storyline.

#1. Jung Sook's Selection

In the preview for episode 15, both Roy Kim (played by Min Woo Hyuk) and Jung Sook's husband, Seo In Ho (played by Kim Byung Chul), are seen volunteering as potential donors. This raises the question of whose liver Jung Sook will choose, creating curiosity around Jung Sook's "liver selection."

Seo In Ho is in a divorce lawsuit, and Jung Sook has been consistently unresponsive to Roy Kim's advances. The decision regarding whose liver she will accept could potentially lead to an extension of the romantic storyline between Jung Sook and Roy or In Ho, further fueling intrigue.

#2. Choi Seung Hee's Choice

The choice of Choi Seung Hee (played by Myung Se Bin), who has been engaged in an extramarital affair with In Ho for a long time, is another important point to watch. In Ho has been going all out to win Jung Sook's heart since their marriage was on the rocks. However, Seung-hee has declared that she will wait, as she wants to provide a complete family for her daughter Eun Seo (played by So A Rin).

However, Seung Hee's emotions change after she treats Jeong-suk's mother, Oh Deok Rye (played by Kim Mi Kyung), and reads a letter she receives. Eun Seo also suggests returning to the United States together, showing signs of letting go of her lingering attachment to In Ho. Therefore, as much attention is focused on Seung Hee's choice as on Jung Sook's ending.

#3. Viewers' Choice

Lastly, the viewers' choice plays a significant role. Starting with a rating of 4.9% (based on Nielsen Korea's nationwide paid households) in the first episode, Doctor Cha has soared to a peak rating of 18.5%, becoming a syndrome-level hit. It has achieved the highest ratings for a JTBC drama this year and ranks fourth in all-time ratings. The remaining goal is to surpass 20%.

Typically, popular dramas achieve their highest ratings in the final episode. Viewers are curious to see if Doctor Cha will achieve its highest rating in episode 16 and whether it will break the desired 20% mark, a goal that the actors themselves also hope for. This weekend, the viewers' choice will garner much attention.

Episodes 15 and 16 (the final episode) of JTBC's Doctor Cha will air on June 3rd and 4th at 10:30 PM KST.
