"Desperate Mr. X" Debuts on KOCOWA

The comedy K-drama Desperate Mr. X debuts the online premium streaming service KOCOWA. 

Desperate Mr. X tells the story of Yoon Dae Wook and the dynamic life he leads. Yoon Dae Wook's story is like those of rags-to-riches. His investment in stocks makes him a wealthy man, and he also gets his dream job. 

But he hits rock bottom and loses his money and job. But that isn't all there is to it. Dae Wook also has to face the struggles that come with ageing. 

Then surprisingly, he is offered a job as a vice president at a company named Lucido. Relieved Dae Wook thinks his days of hardship are over until he finds that the company he will now be working at has struggles of its own. 

Kwon Sang Woo (famous for his roles in dramas and movies like Delayed Justice, Switch, The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure, and Hitman: Agent Jun) plays the lead role of Yoon Dae Wook. Other cast members include Sung Dong Il (known to play supporting roles in Curtain Call, Ghost Doctor, Jirisan, Sisyphus: The Myth and the leading role in If You Wish Upon Me), Im Se Mi and Shin Hyun - who will also be seen in the upcoming thriller Duty After School) - among others. 

The K-drama originally aired from September 2 to September 9. 

Desperate Mr. X is helmed by The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure director Kim Jung Hoon. Its screenplay is penned by Kwak Kyung Yoon whose other works include Love Revolution, Big Forest, Part-Time Idol, and I Need a Fairy, among others.
