Ahn Bo Hyun Annoys Park Ji Hyun with His Childish Behavior in "FlexxCop" Teaser

SBS dropped a new teaser for FlexxCop, giving a sneak peek into the detective life of Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun). 

FlexxCop follows the story of Jin Yi Soo, an immature man from a chaebol family, who becomes a detective in the violent crime department and solves cases by exploiting the privileges that come with his wealth and status. 

The teaser commences by showing how Jin Yi Soo unexpectedly caught a murderer and became a police officer overnight using his money and connections. 

While Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), a tough team leader in the violent crime department, dislikes the parachute detective Jin Yi Soo, there are differing opinions within the team. The youngest member of Team 1, Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi), seems to have a welcoming attitude towards him, as he says, "It would be fun to have someone like that on our team who is powerful and rich."  

On the other hand, Jin Yi Soo flaunts his wealth by setting up a five-star-hotel-like buffet in the police station lobby.

Moreover, as he is very excited to become a police officer, he even gets himself a bling-bling nameplate and shows it off to others.

But getting a fancy officer nameplate is one thing, and carrying out the duties that come with it is another. In one scene, Jin Yi Soo unabashedly plays an online soccer game while on duty, earning the ire of Lee Kang Hyun.

Towards the end of the teaser, Jin Yi Soo boldly declares he will sincerely work to fulfill his duty to  Team Leader Lee Kang Hyun, who seems clearly annoyed by him. 

The unexpected commitment to being diligent and his tit-for-tat-like dynamics with Lee Kang Hyun pique curiosity about the trajectory Jin Yi Soo's detective life will take.

FlexxCop is scheduled to premiere on January 26. The K-drama will be available on Disney+. Watch the teaser below.
