2 PM's Lee Jun Ho will reportedly work with director Lee Na Jung of Fight for My Way.
On September 23, media outlet Star News shared that Lee Jun Ho will lead the upcoming K-drama Typhoon Company (literal translation).
Typhoon Company will showcase the story and struggles of small and medium-sized businesses and their families during the International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis in 1997.
According to reports, Lee Jun Ho will take on the role of Kang Tae Pung, the CEO of Typhoon Company, a company hit hard by the IMF bankruptcy. He's determined to protect his late father's legacy and will do anything to keep the company safe during the crisis.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next project of director Lee Na Jung. She is known for creating the popular K-dramas See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Fight for My Way, Oh My Venus, The Innocent Man, and more.
Typhoon Company will premiere on tvN next year. There is still no confirmation on the official broadcast date of the K-drama as well as the other actors that will possibly work alongside Lee Jun Ho.
If Lee Jun Ho confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama.
The actor is currently filming for his upcoming Netflix original series Cashero. He will work alongside Kim Hye Joon, Kim Byung Chul, Kim Hyang Gi, Kang Han Na, and Lee Chae Min.
Last year, Lee Jun Ho dominated the K-drama scene with the hit series King the Land. He also made a special cameo appearance in the popular K-dramas Celebrity and My Dearest.
If Lee Jun Ho decides to join Typhoon Company, this will be his official comeback to tvN after six years. The last time the actor starred in the broadcast channel was in 2019 with the series Confession.
