Here are three movies that, in my opinion, have stuck with me the most. There are others that have but they've mostly likely been done before so I’ve opted to go with the following. These three movies have really stuck with me mainly because of the endings.

Country: South Korea                           Year: 2010                    Genre: Action, Crime

Synopsis: Kim Hyuk (Joo Jin Mo) is a North Korean refugee who now lives life as a high ranking mobster with his closest friend Lee Young Choon (Song Seung Hun) in the city of Busan, South Korea. Even though he is living a luxurious life he is still plagued by the memory of leaving his brother Kim Chul (Kim Kang Woo) and mother as they attempted to flee into the south in which his mother was beaten to death and his brother imprisoned. Other than that, all seems to be going well until Kim Hyuk goes to Thailand for a meeting with Thai gangsters which turns out to be a set up.

I loved every minute of this movie and the bonds that are formed in it between Kim Hyuk and Kim Chul as well as Kim Hyuk and Lee Young Choon. I was gripped from start to finish with this film. The action scenes were brilliant as well as the soundtrack that was used. It might not bring everyone to tears, but I still think you’ll be glad to have watched this movie if you haven’t already.

Country: South Korea             Year: 2010           Genre: Action, Drama, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller

Synopsis: Yoon Young Hwa (Ha Jeong Woo) used to be a famous anchorman for a news company and now works as a radio show host. The day starts off as any normal day until a listener calls and states that he is going to blow up Mapodaegyo Bridge. Taken as a prank at first, it isn’t too long before they realize that it was real. Yoon Young Hwa decides to take this as a chance to once again become an anchorman as the incident is broadcasted all over national television, though what he doesn’t realize is that in doing so the situation as well as his life will be turned upside down over the next 90 minutes.

Where do I start with this one? I went into this thinking it was just going to be alright and a fun watch which it did feel like that at the start, but as it gets closer to the end it just gets better and better. Even though some of it was predictable I found the ending wasn't. I’m glad it wasn’t what I expected or it would of just been like a Hollywood movie. Ha Jeong Woo did  an amazing job in this film and once it finished it left me speechless in a good way.

Country: Japan                                  Year: 2003                        Genre: Crime, Drama, Romance

Synopsis: Shinichi Kushimori (Ninomiya Kazunari) likes to curl up in an empty aquarium whilst thinking of how to kill his freeloading, drunken step-father. He’s willing to do almost anything as his stepfather soon becomes more abusive and more of a threat to his family.

Now this is one of them movies that some people might find boring and others might love. I for one loved every moment of it.  The acting wasn’t exactly memorable, but what made this movie one of my favorites was the story and how it ends. As it progresses, you start to feel more and more sorry for Shinichi as he takes matters into his own hands.
