The episode opens with Gong Shil and Joong Won sitting near each other. Gong Shil assures that Hee Joo isn't around anymore and questions Joong Won about why he never told the truth about her. He states that he couldn't because she died. If she had lived, he could hate her, but since she died, all he can do it pity her. He scoff's at himself for being foolish and Gong Shil comforts him stating that he hurts more now because he tried to hide it for so long.
Awwww how cute these two are.
We cut to Kang Woo talking on the phone with Joong Won's father. Dad tells him to stay by Joong Won's side, because Joong Won will just ignore his father. Dad's coming to Korea soon anyway. Seems like the dad is looking through Hee Joo's friends in Europe for the necklace (and maybe dating one of them ewwww)
Like father, like son?
Secretary Kim asks Joong Won what will happen to Gong Shil if his father indeed has the necklace. Joong Won claims he will get rid of her and Secretary Kim remarks about how quiet it'll be when she's gone. Joong Won looks forlorn. <3
We cut scene to Gong Shil and Kang Woo. He confesses he was investigating her to see if she had any relation to Hee Joo. She sadly claims she thought it was because he liked her
As they walk away to talk quietly, we see Secretary Kim and Joong Won
Gong Shil reveals to Kang Woo that she can see ghosts, and proves it by describing a white ghost cat sitting next to a mall shopper. After she leaves, Kang Woo asks the shopper for confirmation and she shows him a picture of her recently deceased white cat.
That cat does not look happy. hahaha
That is the face of sheer terror.
Cut again to Joong Won walking into Gong Shil's office to discover her sleeping fitfully. He shows his concern by chasing off the ghosts and laying next to her for a bit. <3
Even in her sleep she's the grope-master. ^.^
Gong Shil wakes up later and comments about how well she slept
She meets with her sister at the cafe and they speak about what the creepy matchmaker lady told her about ghosts flocking to her. They foreshadow hardcore that Gong Shil will be possessed sometime (possibly soon). Gong Shil wonder's if she should let the ghosts use her like that while Unnie swiftly and forcefully strikes that notion down.
At least one of them has some sense.
Jump scene again to a man in a morgue replacing roses on his dead wife. It's tragic and sort of creepy. We cut again to the aunt and uncle talking about this man. He's going to give a piano concert at Kingdom, however there are rumors that he can't play ever since his wife died, but Uncle claims that everything will be okay.
We jump again to Gong Shil and Joong Won discussing her radar abilities (i.e. her worth). She claims she must not be worth anything to him since she can't find Hee Joo or the money, however he denies and insists that she is indeed worth a great deal of money.
Woah calm down crazy eyes.
It's cute, even if the feminist in me cringes at the way they talk about her in terms on monetary value.
We jump to Joong Won being lectured by Aunt over Gong Shil. She makes it obvious that she prefers Yi Ryeong over Gong Shil, but Joong Won remains cool and sassy, telling her to set up another marriage meeting if she's stressed. She agrees and he will meet someone while on a trip to China.
Oh baby Kang Woo, have you slept at all?
Kang Woo and Gong Shil meet and it's obvious Kang Woo is terrified with his new knowledge. She's regretting telling him, but he puts his fears aside and offers to help protect her. He also trips over a box and completely freaks out. It's adorable. Can I put him in my pocket? No?
As he's leaving, Yi Ryeong surprises him and he promptly shoves her head into the wall again. (Is this their "thing"?) They begin their adorable insult flirting where's she's pompous and he knocks her down a peg.
Is this their "thing"?
However, as always she is completely unfazed, to which Kang Woo has quite possibly the BEST comeback ever.
If I didn't already love you, I would now. (what can I say, sassiness is my weak spot)
We jump again to the Piano man (Louis Jang) about to injure himself by slamming his hand into the piano (whyyyy?). Luckily, Kang Woo walks in at the right time, however he doesn't recognize him and subdues him. Jang fakes a hand injury to get out of playing at his concert. He psychologically can't play since his wife died.
We cut again to Secretary Kim and Joong Won browsing the stores. They come across a really pretty, delicate, sun pendant and Secretary Kim encourages Joong Won to buy it for Gong Shil. Secretary Kim is the best ever. However Joong Won leaves without buying it.
PSYCHE!!! He secretly went back and got it *swoon* <33333
At that moment, Gong Shil knocks on the door and Joong Won is more than shocked. He thinks she knows what he got her, and he vehemently denies "it's" not for her, but someone else. She's confused and he plays it off smoothly. She finds out it's an amulet, but thinks he bought it for himself anyway. So blissfully clueless. She claims Secretary Kim sent her so she could use his oven to bake a special pie for Louis Jang.
As she's working, Joong Won watches over carefully and mumbles cutely to himself.
He gets up to talk to her and finds out she's doing this to get Kang Woo off the hook. He's adorably jealous.
He accidentally bumps into her and the ghost vanishes. Gong Shil lashes out annoyed and he is incredulous.
(I LOVE So Ji Sub's facial expressions in this scene)
He tells her to get tipsy and let the ghost do it herself if she's going to be so snippy. But as soon as she mentions it could be dangerous he backtracks and tells her never to drink alcohol ever. <3333
We come back to Kang Woo and Yi Ryeong at the piano where she unwittingly gives him relationship advice with Gong Shil---he should like her more. He leaves and spies Joong Won and Gong Shil together on their way to meet Louis Jang (whose tragic story is becoming a little creepy).
Louis Jang meets Gong Shil and Joong Won in Joong Won's office and Gong Shil gives him the precisely made pie (he's a freak, woah). She reveals that she can see his wife and she starts getting really clingy (and Joong Won gets really jealous, even mentioning to her to get away from him :D).
After he leaves he scolds her for letting him be so clingly. He's just about to give her the necklace, and she runs off. Gong Shil you idiottttttttt!
The next day Gong Shil is being pestered by the pianist who literally needs his wife's opinion for everything. He drags her along with him and Kang Woo see's them go. Kang Woo then goes to Joong Won to figure out what's going on. When Joong Won tells him, Kang Woo tells off Joong Won for treating Gong Shil the same way. Joong Won reflects and doesn't like being compared to the pianist.
Gong Shil relays the ghost's wife's clothing choices to Louis Jang, and while he's changing her sister comes in bringing his very strong cinnamon tea. They begin talking and Louis overhears Gong Shil joke that she should let the ghost wife overtake her body for the day. Unnie immediately stops her, reminding her that she might never get the ghost out. Louis overhears this all and his creepy vibe intensifies 10 fold.
Cut back to Joong Won on his way to the airport. As he's leaving he stops to give the necklace to the trashcan ahjussi ghost to keep it safe for Gong Shil.
We come back to the pianist dropping sleeping pills into a glass of the tea. He's planning on drugging Gong Shil so his wife can take over her body and they can run away together. She drinks the tea and the door closes ominously. We see the ghost wife enter Gong Shil's body and her eyes change to a creepy red color.
We cut scene again to Joong Won at the airport calling Gong Shil (In his phone she's listed as "Get Lost" lol)
Cut back to Aunt checking in on the pianist who claims to he fine because he has his muse back.
Kang Woo passes by them walking to rehearsal and notices something weird. Uncle calls Joong Won and asks if he's dumped Gong Shil because she's with the pianist, leaving for France soon.
We come back to the pianist and possessed Gong Shil. The ghost wife tells her husband off for being a nuisance. She tells him to stop being a baby and that she has to leave the body soon. The pianist breaks down in tears after she slaps him.
She's just a little resentful of his pickiness. The pianist goes to play his concert alone for once.
We jump to Joong Won strolling into Kingdom to save Gong Shil!!!!!!
He finds her and the ghost wife immediately begins teasing him, saying she'll tell him if Gong Shil likes him or not. We flashback to her confessing her feeling to the ghost while they were baking the pie. He's upset and confused and to deal with his emotions, he makes the ghost leave BY KISSING HERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not even gonna lie. I paused to squeee, then rewinded, watched again, paused to squeee, and then finished the episode.
Gong Shil collapses and falls asleep. He stays with her HOLDING HANDS <3333 until she begins to stir, when he leaves without her realizing. Kang Woo walks in and Gong Shil doesn't remember anything. He offers to take her home.
Joong Won goes back to the airport and calls out Secretary Kim for pushing he and Gong Shil together. He claims he doesn't want to change or to like her.
NOOOOOO STUPID JUST LOVE HER!!!!!!
ONE WEEK LATER.
Gong Shil is met by the blabber mouth secruity guard who's trying to tell her big news, but as soon as she hear's Joong Won is back, she runs off without letting him finish. Awww.
She meets Secretary Kim first. He also tries to tell her the news but their interrupted by the Aunt and Uncle. They tell her to congratulate Joong Won--he's getting married. In walks Joong Won and his new fiance, who pass by a completely forlorn Gong Shil without a second glance.
OMG THIS EPISODE. MY EMOTIONS WENT TO HIGH TO FALL SO FARRRRR
