Beautiful Man Update
As of December 20, 2012, it has been confirmed that the television drama production agency, RamongRaein is pursuing a TV drama remake of the hit romantic comedy movie, My Sassy Girl. (enewsworld)
The movie first hit theaters a little over eleven years ago and became an instant success. It went on to win multiple awards including Best Asian Film (Hong Kong Film Awards), Best Foreign Film (Awards of the Japanese Academy & Hochi Film Awards), and even helped actor Cha Tae Hyun ring in a Best New Actor award (Blue Dragon Awards) and actress Ji Hyun Jun ring in a Best Actress award (Grand Bell Awards).
Based on a series of true stories posted by Ho-Sik Kim on the internet describing his relationship with his girlfriend. These were later transformed into a best-selling book and the movie follows the book closely. It describes the meeting of Gyun Woo (Cha Tae Hyun) and an unnamed girl (Jun Ji Hyun). Gyun Woo is shammed into assisting the girl because the other passengers mistakenly think she is his girlfriend. Once he helps her, Kyun Woo develops a deep sense of responsibility for her which enables him to tolerate (somehow) the girls abuses. - IMBD

Earlier this year, RamongRaein began taking scripts but were unable to settle on a script and writer until recently. (Woooo!) It is rumored that the upcoming drama will feature sixteen episodes and will air in the later half of 2013. (Who's excited?!) Casting has yet to begin, as one can only wonder, "Who will fill these big shoes?" and "Will RamongRaein be able to find the same level of success as the original?" We shall see.
For the most part, I really hope the 'new' Gyun Woo will remember The 10 Rules:
#1 Don't ask her to be feminine
#2 Don't let her drink over 3 glasses
#3 Drink Coffee instead of Coke/juice
#4 If she hits you, act like it hurts. If it hurts, act like it doesn't
#5 On your 100th day together, give her a rose during her class
#6 Make sure you learn fencing and squash
#7 Be prepared to go to prison sometimes
#8 If she says she'll kill you, don't take it lightly!
#9 If her feet hurt, exchange shoes with her
#10 She likes to write. Encourage her ♥
