Spoiler Warning, as this review is me rewatching It's Okay, That's Love.

What an outstanding opening episode into the series this was. Jo In Sung immediately allowed me to be pulled into the drama with his natural charisma. In an hour he showed himself to be a plethora of things. A wise, quick thinking man but he isn't perfect and has a few storms brewing with this mysterious man who hates him with a vengeance (who'll eventually be revealed to be his brother) and a plagiarism issue. Plus some more hints and glimpses that you won't catch on the first viewing. One thing I certainly didn't catch during my first time was the links between Jang Jae Yeol’s writing style and the plot itself. One of the first cases Jae Yeol involves himself in, along with Ji Hae Soo, is a schizophrenia case. And, like Jae Yeol’s books, the main character always meets his end to the same thing he inflicts on others. I couldn't help but smile with delight at how incredible the writing was and it's so much more apparent now I know what's going to happen. Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin have sizzling chemistry together. And it all comes off the sexual tension and intense dislike from Ji Hae Soo for Jae Yeol. Hate as any emotion that could easily turn into love and this proved it most of all. Our side characters have been introduced well. But of course this whole episode was dedicated to kicking off what will be an emotional roller-coaster.

A little messy, but highly addicting.

So my original review got messed up and deleted when I realized that MDL botched up my rating. I blame it all on MDL! So I'm not going to bother writing my huge long first episode review. (Maybe)

This first episode was all over the place. There's a lot here building up the episode. It's very messy, but I can see it becoming highly addicting. The lead actors are amazing, and I feel like the director is especially in love with the male leads face. All those close ups and letting him pose and smirk for the camera. Though they let the female lead do it too, not to the extent of the male.

I really like the cast here! I see lots of actors that I've fallen in love with their acting in other dramas, so I love how cray-cray they are.

Also, this show is about psychiatrist and mental health. I really like that already they have a transgender in the story, and I hope it might be a consistent plot. Though that doesn't mean that the writer isn't using mental health/psychiatrists as a hijinks and gimmicks for the show. Quirky characteristics are a given for dramas. Let's be honest though, everyone has that special thing(S) that make them coo coo.

We're all weird.

I have high expectations for this. Honestly so many fans have raved about it. It's fun! However, it's all over and I found it a bit sloppy. His mad driving skills and how everyone is linked. Okay. We'll see how it goes there's room to grow.

Great start to the show

I was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked the first episode. Interesting storyline, unique characters I've grown quite attached to already, and great pace. I'm really looking forward to watching the rest of this series!

goood

So I've watched the first episode and I am positively surprised. Although I knew that this show received good ratings, I am always a bit dubious when I am about to watch a good rated drama. But this far I really like it.
Although it's not exactly a light drama,it made me feel delighted and the characters' conversations made me smile. Moreover the story seems to be very promising (I am actually not sure if I've read what this drama is about) and I got hooked on the first episode. If this isn't something to be looking forward to, I don't know.

It's Okay, I like it!

From the moment the news of Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin's involvement in this drama were confirmed, I was sure I would watch it and like it. Knowing the fab team from TWTWB wrote and directed this, I didn't doubt the product would be satisfying. Plus, since I've studied in the field of psychology et such, dramas that treat things related to this subject are my favorite.

The first episode was really fast paced, funny, smart, with nice interactions between the young and the older leads. I laughed, I got mad, and I was amused when I watched this episode.

GHJ's character Hae Soo is interesting. She is a psychiatrist (well not yet tho) who is very devoted to her work and looks at the patient before she looks at herself. I love how she defended her ideas againts JIS's character Jae Yul, an arrogant and narrow minded mystery writer. This ship is so so so approved!

Plus Kwang Soo's character... ahahah, really funny. Want to see what will happen between him and the others since he has an evident nevrosis (Tourette syndrome) unlike GHJ and JIS's characters.

D.O.'s character is also cute. His obsession with Jae Yul is funny... lol. The scene where he looks at his kraken made me LULZ.

Eager to see the dynamics in the second episode, so far I am really interested to watch this drama.

AWESOME

This is actually the first time I'm writing an episode review but that kind of a start just blew me away.
Even though I'm not able to tell you what exactly this Drama is about ( concerning this is the first episode) what I still am able to say is that it was a start for a new Drama that totally hooked me from the very first second. The characters were introduced in a very honest light an that got me curious for more !
Definietly going to continue watching this with great hopes that it will turn out having different, origin storyline...
BIG EXTRA: the ost is extremly awesome, totally downloading it when its out

Five Stars

Quirky and fun, a good way to start. I seldom pay attention to soundtracks and it was a pleasant surprise to do so here. I suppose because it was an American???band...anyhow they were singing in english. Loved that the Replies daddy is here, and that lanky actor from Nice guy too. I hope the rhythm keeps strong...

It's Okay, That's Love - Episode 1

First things first, the soundtrack in this drama is flipping awesome.
Second, I had no idea that D.O (Do Kyung Soo) was that good of an actor. I love his character, and it's really nice seeing him in a different light.
Third, the characters and the story are already incredibly unique and mesmerizing. The actors are brilliant, and their characters are written very well. Each person feels different from the cliche norm that we are used to seeing in dramas. The plot is also incredibly unique, with action, comedy, romance, and mental problems, it's all very entertaining and heart wrenching at the same time.
I'm really looking forward to this drama.

Ulu, very niceee :)

With this little note at the beginning which pointed that "this drama is based on neuropsychiatry, but all of the patients' cases and unique diagnosis are fictional";, I was already convinced that it will be something different, hihi;p
More over Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin characters seriously surprised me!
I hope that this drama will become something new.

(btw, I didn't know Kwang Soo was in this project! I'm so happy^^)
