Good?
Well, they bring up a new vision what CAN or NOT happen in the BL world, at the start I think that would be other generic BL but japan never fails to bring good story and acting to the Bl world. The acting was really on point, I mean if we explore a little more I bet we have the best drama of the year, but was okay. The visual in general was AMAZING. The music... well besides the track of the opening.. was not thaaaat good but was good. Rewatch value was high because for sure i will watch another times.Cet avis était-il utile?
A Slow Start With A Satisfyingly Conclusion
I liked this show a lot more than I had thought I would, while watching the first 5 episodes. The second half was worlds apart, and even if it hadn't been, that last episode was totally worth the time spent on this show.Shirasaki is an awkward character-- while Hayame comes off as cold and detached. Their relationship begins to shine when the story breaks down Hayame's persona, and we're left with the raw attraction between the two.
In true Japanese fashion, this is a slow paced romance, with two characters who refuse to communicate, and instead choose to hide their needs and emotions. It's not until they find themselves at the verge of loosing everything that they're no longer willing to let the other go.

Looks Good But Is Not
There is an American expression that is so apt for this series. It goes something like this: “To snatch defeat from the jaws of victory”. That seems to be so apropos to Bls as of late, especially for Japanese ones. They start out so promising and slowly slide downhill into mundaness and then burst into a flurry at the end as if everything is and can be exculpated. This time, it just does not work. The story is flat, the characters are flat, and the production is even flatter. It all feels so lazy. This series had potential but squandered it away by telling a story that went nowhere and came to life only at the end. Why do we have to wait until the end to get good drama?Cet avis était-il utile?
Know what kind of BLs you like
I can only say this series confirms for me that I am indeed a part of the Japanese BL target market - I am one of those audience members who really enjoys the slow-pace and the sensitive unfolding of a tender romance. This is one such drama, heartfelt and rewarding, with two well-cast leads, far from the clamour of the need for speed and thrills and urgency.From my experience to date, the Japanese writers, directors and actors, do this kind of series very well.
I don't know the actors from previous shows, but it's interesting to note that, like their characters, they differ quite significantly in terms of their Main Role experience.

One of the Most Mature Romances in a Long Time
It can be much easier to admit feelings while hiding behind a character who’s supposed to feel them than to admit them to someone real who has the power to break your heart.That’s precisely the kind of safety Hayama Asami (Komagine Kiita) hides behind when he offers to fake date his new costar Shirasaki Yuki (Niihara Taisuke) in order to help him learn about love.

a good story with a poor execution
I enjoyed the first episodes but while the time passed by it just stressed me out. The story is really good and has a lot of potential but it went down with the miscommunication trope, like ig it was ok at first but it lasted longer than i would’ve liked, despite this as a highlight i liked that it included more mature content/topics.I don’t remember much about the music but the opening was good and about the cinematography it was really pretty. I really liked the acting but i think it has room of improvement.
Overall, it’s a good bl but not excellent.

Plot had real potential
25:00 in Akasaka is a meta-BL that explores the ambiguity of offscreen BL relationships and questions whether it’s possible for actors to completely extract themselves from the character they play. There are clever visual parallels as the filming sequences often mirror what actually unfolds in real life, only to be interrupted with an abrupt “CUT!” yelled by the director.Unfortunately, the “I’ve loved you since the first time we met” trope is a wasted opportunity in this instance.
In my opinion, it would have been far more interesting to watch their relationship develop organically from strangers to partners, driven mostly because of their on-set interactions.
An underdeveloped theme of the series is how their (blossoming) personal relationship influences and affects their acting. Does the onscreen romance become more realistic if the intimacy grows? Or does the gaze just get more awkward? As they get more comfortable, how does that affect the way they move around each other?

A fun take into the behind-the-scene-of a BL drama making while being BLs
A passionate rookie actor Shirasaki Yuki (Niihara Taisuke), lands a role to be the co-star of a famous actor he knew back in university days, Hayama Asami (Komagine Kiita). As the filming process starts, Shirasaki starts wrestling with his feelings of his character and in real life, as he confronts how he feels about himself while exploring how he really feel about Asami.This is a delight, wonderful, and fun take into the behind-the-scene of a BL drama while also being a BL. It explores the opposing personal insecurities of Yuki & Asami who are in different stages of success, Yuki feels a burden to find authenticity in his role while Asami has the burden of being successful, Amidst unrequited love and burgeoning feelings, they unite beautifully well on screen. Lovely flirting moments and the instant chemistry really draw me in, and those are my two essentials when it comes to enjoying a romance.
There’s a moment of frustration, but it was endearing to realize the reason behind this twist is due to their own fear of failure, not only in love, but also in career. Both of them want to succeed as actors but afraid that they're not good enough to succeed in. I think this conflict was handled well compared to other dramas. The final episode was perfect and sexy, it had me blushing a lot, leaving me feeling so happy! Would recommend to anyone for the unique storyline, you get intimacy, shirtless caresses, yearning... all those goodies!

Pretty Darn Good
I don't have much to say cause this was one of those J-BLs that's pretty freaking good, but not great enough to be memorable. However, throughout my watch, I enjoyed myself fully. I'm starting to like these kinds of tropes with the leads in a BL falling for each other in real life, it might just become another one of those concepts that garner it an automatic watch.Let's Dive In.
Yuki and Asami's dynamic was the cutest. You get a little bit of that bubbly seme/stoic uke trope, but not so cutthroat. I adored the way Asami treated Yuki and watching the younger slowly fall in love. My only real negative about them is that a very minor, very minuscule mishearing drove the entirety of the plot at the end. Yuki literally just could've asked Asami who he was talking about, and that would've killed off an irrelevant 3 episodes, and a couple of non-sensical crying scenes. Oh, and their kisses, minus a couple of them, were all pretty bad. But besides those two things, I really enjoyed them.
Speaking on the production itself, so many amazing and beautiful transitions happened in this that looked fantastic. Whoever was behind this definitely took their time to craft these very creative transitions, and I really enjoyed them .
Ratings:
Story: 8/1 0 - gets a little eh by the end, but most of it is good.
Acting: 9/10 - It's good! I liked Taisuke (Yuki)'s acting the most. I like seeing the difference between his actual character and the character he played in the series.
Music: 6/10 - didn't pay it any attention.
Recommendation Value: 7/10 - I really like it, but like I said earlier, it's not too memorable since the ending kind of dies down the hype of this. However, I think it's a beautiful story told, so I would definitely recommend giving it a watch.

El final de los jueves japoneses
Este año coincidieron tres obras japonesas al mismo momento y At 25:00 at Akasaka es a la última que tenemos que decirle adiós, lo que, ciertamente, nos deja con una sequía de producción nipona hasta nuevo aviso.El drama no es, probablemente, el mejor que he visto en los últimos tiempos y, aunque la producción y la actuación son de alto nivel, es cierto que el producto en su conjunto pierde por decisiones directivas y de guion. También es verdad que últimamente orbito más alrededor de producciones que no utilizan la falta de comunicación como elemento central de las problemáticas de sus personajes.
En cualquier caso, ha sido muy agradable compartir estas 10 semanas con Kiita y Taisuke. Estaré esperando esa segunda temporada que se deja caer al final del último episodio.

Yearning. We love it.
*Spoilery but will not go into the details*As a BL watcher who tries to steer clear of the more mature romances(like this one), I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama. They did an amazing job of showing different kinds of intimacy on screen, which I feel is somtimes lacking in some JBLs. The characters clearly respected each other. For some, the pace might be a little too slow, but as someone who loves to watch characters yearn for each other, I think the pacing was just right. It was clear from the beginning that there is a love to be explored between the two leads. And it made me want to learn more. Yes, there are a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication, which may throw people off, but I think it works for the story. their backstories were very interesting, I like how their destinies are intertwined. I'm really impressed with how they were able to create a drama within a drama. Easily one of my favorites.
TLDR: If you love to watch characters yearn go watch this drama NOW

La serie es bonita siento que hay varios malentendidos y por algo pasan las cosas, debo resaltar que mee encantó la cinematografía de esa serie siento que esta muy bien lograda en bastantes escenas, la pareja principal cumple me hubiera gustado ver un poco mas de ellos que si bien si tenemos bastantes escenas de ellos, digamos que algo a futuro de ellos sobre como llevan la relacion y asi, tambien siento que Sakuma Hajime y Yamase Kazuma nos dejaron muy ahi de que ya no supieron que hacer con ellos, y siento que les falto un poco.Algunas cosas a resaltar para mi serian:
En el cap 4 pasan muchas cosas, pero la escena donde están haciendo los ñoquis, que yo siento que esa escena me da otra vibra no se, nos muestran como están sus dedos pegados y como agarran y hacen los ñoquis no se medio sus el asunto.
Tmb cuando reconocen a Shirasaki kun en el restaurante y de pronto la gente que lo conoce y tiene su numero lo vuelve a contactar, se ve lo abrumado que se siente pq es algo nuevo para el además de que se nos dice que no recibe visitas y que no suele salir so es gente que se contacto ahora que gano fama?
y ya para el final ps vemos como vuelve a sentirse solitario pq Asami-san tiene que hacer otras cosas entonces se rompe como esa rachita que llevaban de ver a diario y convivir.
Me gusta que el cap 7 sea una perspectiva de Asami-san y entonces nos muestren todo lo que hay detrás de el y pq siguió actuando, es un gran forma de conocer mas del personaje lo que hace que empaticemos mas con el.
Siento que a partir de cap 8 en adelante todo se vuelve pura tensión, tipo que es lo que va a pasar y la vd que yo esperaba que fuera una historia de amor "trágica" como fue la serie que estaban grabando (pq al final de la serie "hiro no yume" se entiende que no quedan juntos pq el personaje de Asami-San se tiene que ir aunque ya se que al final de la serie la productora les manda ms diciéndoles que se aprobó para una 2da temporada, nomas lo esperaba no era algo que quería la vd).
Para mi la 1ra mitad del cap 10 representa todo, desde el dejarse llevar por la emoción y el sentimiento que tiene ambos, hasta cuando Hayama-San va a buscar a Shirasaki kun y justo en la mitad del cap le dice que es el, la persona de la cual no se a podido olvidar y siento que el beso del min 13:53 representa el por fin decirse todo lo que sienten en cambio del beso del principio es uno que representa la pasión que ambos sienten:)
