Although the settings that the shows take place in are different, they are both Japanese BL shows and they are both adapted from mangas. They both have that wholesome, comical, and cute vibe about them. The two shows are of high quality as well. So, if you are a fan of Cherry Magic like I am… I think you would be interested in this one as well!!!

King and Burger's story is similar to Ida and Aoki. King sees a drawing of him on Burger's book, and thinks Burger likes him. But the book belonged to Burger's friend- Ink, who had a crush over King. Burger ends up tearing that page and immediately eating it to escape the situation and decides not to let out his friend's secret. Thinking that it was Burger's drawing, King starts reciprocating Burger's feelings and starts flirting with him.

The plot of the Burger King ship of Hit Bite Love (2023) is very similar to My Love Mix-Up. Burger bookshare a workbook with fellow desk mate, King, during class. When Burger turned a page and saw a doodle professing a secret crush on King, he immediately tore that page out and hid the evidence by swallowing it. It turns out the workbook is borrowed from Ice, who Burger has a crush on. Therefore, he found that Ice likes King and not him. All the while not knowing it was a borrowed book, King has misunderstood the message from Burger. Considering that message, King flirts with Burger while he is being set up to meet Ice. School setting relatively short BLs with very likeable characters and a similar vibe. The students eventually form into two couples, one M/M, the other F/M.

Japanese romance with the same light vibe to the narrative, somehow. Both treat their characters with fariness and develop them in a similar way. Also, they're both the type of series that gives comfort to people who watch them, because the plot is fairly uncomplicated and more realistic in a matter of actions-feelings.
Kieta Hatsukoi is more juvenile, but it gives me the same vibe as Perfect Propose.
