Love story and broadcasting - the plot is different in terms of relationship of couples and characters, still the side story is about people on tv.

The romantic leads of both of these dramas just came out of relationships that ended due to the infidelity of their partners. Due to circumstances, the leads wind up cohabitating in a house together. Both dramas also focus on the dynamics between the leads and their coworkers/friends, life and relationship lessons, conversations about marriage and life plans, and the professional backdrop of the setting.

Here’s an older kdrama that I kept thinking about while watching Forecasting L&W. There’s even a similar scene, with all the guys being squeezed in on one couch in FL’s apartment - which of course, her mother walks in on.

Both are about career oriented FLs that start secretly dating a younger guy, who of course doesn’t fall into the norm and is little bit of a genius at what he does, he’s stubborn/prideful and as much as he loves the FL he doesn’t want to get married. So, will they or won’t they stay together in the end??

Both dramas manage to smoothly weave in stories about the other characters working at the office in a meaningful (but sort of preachy) way.

Both dramas have glimpses of the relationships of two couples before and now.. and after their so-called breaks up (as in the Before we get married no matter how insistent one of the party was.. the other didn't want to accept a break up). They have cheating in it... The actual cheating with bodies. The cheating as in the emotional sense. In both one of the exes is exploring the other for money and is being nosy about his/her new relationship.

Both of these dramas are Noona age gap romances which feature clear life/love lessons that relate back to their work. They both also feature similar support characters, both of the lovable and annoying variety, and multiple couples of different ages and with different struggles.

Different but the same? Both drama are (slow-paced) slice of life stories about people in their thirties geared toward a mature, adult audience with lot of dialogue and little action and only subtle humor in between. Not office focused as FLAW is but both shows focus on a realistic, in-depth look into the definition of love, (romantic) relationships and traditional marriage as a concept in a very thoughtful and eloquent way. It also deals with topics and themes such as sexism and harrassment in the workplace, traditional gender stereotypes and its societal pressure, meddling, dysfunctional families and the generational conflict ensuing from all that etc.

The story focuses on three, very different couples, two side... one main. The romance of the main couple is slow-paced but starts from an unusual place as well, except that it is contractual, loveless marriage here instead of a passionate one-night stand turned into relationship like in FLAW. ML is the one who is cautious and afraid to get hurt again, but all the more to hurt others, introverted, but perceptive of others and logical to a fault. FL is inexperienced in love because she was too focused on work, but she is smart, a little idealistic/chaotic, headstrong and speaks her mind. Main couple also communicates well (for the most part) and deals with their conflicts in a mature, honest way. It depicts their struggle and growth needed to find a common ground for a healthy relationship together in a realistic manner, like in FLAW.
