The plot is very well written and unique in both of them.
The Main leads have a very healthy and mature relationship.
In LR, the ML loves the FL for a long time while in YAMG the FL is the one.
In LR, FL faces work crises while in YAMG it's the ML.
Both main leads are career-oriented.
Once they get together they are lovey-dovey and deal with their problems.

It seems an odd recommendation given vastly different settings and subject matter, but both dramas concentrate on the relationships of individuals who have their own careers and dreams. They meet each other and fall in love, give and receive support from their partner and are single minded when it comes to their relationships, pushing aside any interlopers without hesitation.

Neither show uses dumb misunderstandings or a lack of communication to create drama in the relationship and just tell the story of a couple in love with each other.

In both the main male protagonist is an only child who managed to accomplish his childhood dream (which was in one of the cases astronomy and in the other architecture), but failed in another aspect of his life (whether his health or his wealth). After this happened to him his childhood crush and later on fiance dumps.
In both the main heroine hhin't somebody unknown for the guy, but instead she ahad a crush on him sincee high school, but he was then very popular and with a girlfriend, so she chose to keep some distance from him. She is in both cases a very shy person who confront people when get angry, but even so sometimes taken on a lot of blame, which isn't hers.

Through his hard work and talent, Wu Bai has become the youngest star player in the national robot wars competition. He forms a team and enters the final round of the competition, sharing the stage with Ai Qing - the person who has introduced him to his passion. Both are determined to promote the popularization and application of technological robots with the younger generation group through the robot competition, hoping to accelerate the country's rejuvenation of science and technology.

As competitors, Wu Bai's persistent and extraordinary talent draws in Ai Qing's attention, while Ai Qing's passion for her job, persistence in chasing her dreams, and outstanding tactics earned Wu Bai's respect. The two of them support each other through the competition and lead their respective teams to victory.

Both feature incredible chemistry with two leads whose romance is delayed and in fits and starts due to their professional ambitions as they cross paths and try to make it work over months (and maybe even years) . .

Whereas Descendents of the Sun also has a lot of adrenaline from taking place in rescue/war zones the feel of being on a journey with a couple you are absolutely cheering on and have gotten to know extremely well is very similar.

The plot of these two dramas are different but they have Yang Yang as the main lead.

Although the male lead's jobs are different, both of them work for their country and they're outstanding in what they do.

Also Glory of Special Forces, You Are My Glory and The King Avatar are called as "The Glory Trilogy" by netizen. Those 3 dramas are successful and very popular and the netizen also praise Yang Yang for his acting.

Both dramas gives depth about the leads feeling that makes us understand why they fall in love with each other. I love YAMG. If you feel unsatisfied with how fast Jing Jing accept Yu Tu after he breaks her heart like me, you definitely need to watch IMLY. I love watching ML in IMLY struggling to win his FL back. Plus both dramas dont have love triangle.

Pretty female leads are actresses and both only have eyes for the handsome and smart male leads (they only have eyes for them too). Lovers of one of the dramas, might enjoy the other one too!

Parallel as slow burn & passionate romance dramas depicting youth struggles, contemplation, hurdles & setbacks of chasing and achieving dreams from the point of view of intelligent, independent & hard working, strong male & female leads as they influence, overwhelm, light up each other's worlds.

Similarity between The King' Avatar and You are my Glory :

1. E-Sport / Gaming drama
2. Both casted Yang Yang as Male Main Lead
3. Romance drama
4. Talks about Public Figure's life
