Healing while finding yourself.
Have you ever ask yourself with one of these questions?Do I enjoy being alone? Do I dare to travel alone? Or do I enjoy watching the sea by myself? If you find yourself asking any of these questions then this drama might be the one who can give you an answer. Those questions are only a few of title episodes in this drama.
This drama is not a love story with someone but a love story within yourself. I find this addicting to watch as me, myself has been single most of my life but still asking the questions to myself if I can do something on my own.
Story: the drama is slow pace but then in real life, you will not find yourself or heal in a blink of an eye, right? I love that about this drama. The feeling is so real that it is happening to yourself without even knowing it. The story itself so close to my heart as I'm always asking myself every time they are asking single people with an interview-like scenario(in this drama) with the questions which is the same as the title episodes and I can relate to their answers! The length of the series is just perfect, no more no less for me. And for the ending, I like it! In the end you will really pursue what you want and you will heal in no time.
Relationships/Characters: the relationships of the characters to each other are so pure. From being a stranger to a person you can lean on. The different types of single or how you can cope up on your own can be seen in each characters. The hardships and struggles of healing whether it's about your family or your past love relationships are also present.
Locations: the locations in this drama is surreal. You will see the beauty of the city and the neighbouring provinces and some parts of other country too! (I can't give the country where our characters went to though) Going to a different places all the time, you will also see the delicacies of the town. And for me, I like it! It gives me knowledge to what to see and do to a certain place and I love how what the production did for that!
Music/BGM: the OSTs for this drama is a bop! I like every single of it. The sfx and bgm for this drama are okay too. They are right on time to play in certain scenes. Plus the English translations of the OSTs are heartwarming!
Acting: some actors in my opinion can improve their acting. I don't feel so attach at one person but I also need to understand that some people are really not good at showing emotions. And I think that's what the director wants to happen.
Re-watch value for me is high as I want to look back on my youth while I'm finding myself(still) and see if I did my best to achieve it.
Remember finding yourself is a process. No rush and take it easy! You've done so well to be at this place right now and keep moving forward!

The difference between "loneliness" and "being alone"
This was a wonderful drama. If you like slower-paced dramas that are more about contemplating problems than providing a constant string of entertainment, this one is for you.At the core of the drama is the question "How can one learn to be comfortable with oneself?" What is the difference between "loneliness" and "being alone"? We have two points of view contemplating this problem.
First, the female lead had loneliness forced upon her - as said in the summary, she broke up with her long-term boyfriend, and now has to learn how to be comfortable being by herself. In the absence of constant companionship, who's left to accompany you except your own self? The first half of the drama is following her as she contemplates and discusses various situations with those around her : would you be willing to eat at a restaurant on your own? Visit the seaside by yourself? Move house by yourself? While these are simple problems, they are presented in such a way that examines to what extent we should rely on others, and to what extent we need to learn to rely on ourselves. Her story really reminds me of the journey of moving away from home and getting your first job in society - all these little problems arising that were simply taken care of before by others that you now have to learn how to deal with on your own, the insecurity of just going out there and doing things without someone to catch you if you falter.
Second, the male lead approaches the problem of loneliness from the opposite direction. His loneliness is self-afflicted. It is his choice to not get close to people, to not form close relationships. Due to some things that happened in his past, he believes self-isolation is the best way to deal with this world, that in general people are unreliable, so why even try to start a relationship (romantic or otherwise) with someone in the first place? ("We're born alone in this world, thus we should also expect to leave it alone.") While the female lead learns how to rely on herself more, the male lead needs to learn how to balance his need for solitude and peace with the universal human need for human connection.
Thus, the two leads weave in and out of each other's lives, finding comfort in communicating with each other via text rather than in-person, slowly reshaping their lives as their worldview expands. The supporting characters also add good commentary to the core question, and all of their viewpoints vary in some way from the two leads', giving the audience many insights into how to balance being bravely independence with the need to connect with another person.
A wonderfully shot drama with an excellent OST and meaningful message. Strongly recommended if you're interested!

poignant tale about what it means to be alone
This is one of those dramas that make you really question your life choices. It's a slow, down to earth story. While male lead is comfortable being alone and finds being on his own fulfilling, the female lead can't seem to stand being alone and even eating alone makes her uneasy.Modern society still can't make their mind up when it comes to loneliness and this drama challenges that. Is being alone miserable? Or can it be a concious choice? Do we really need a company? Is there really a void to fill?
I didn't expect to like this drama as much as I did. There are parts of the story that dragged on for too long for my liking, which affects my score. There is also a questionable PPL from MLM company, but I tried my best to ignore since it's not a central part of plot. Also there were parts that weren't really realistic, but in general it's fine by me - it's a drama after all :) Not gonna lie, the last few episodes surprised me with some developements. For a slower paced slice of life drama there weren't any filler episodes either.
I liked the "interview" interludes and how each episode ask you a different question regarding stuff such as marriage or life choices.
Music plays big part in how the story is told, and gives the drama a cozy, mellow feel. I find myself often listening to the songs featured, especially Maybe Maybe by The Chairs.
The acting is good and believeable, compliments the story and no one seems out of place.
Overall it's a drama worth watching. It has flaws, but at the end I don't mind them as much. I will go back to this one for sure.
