centers around the contrast between the rich/working class families.
Main plot centers around FL's family past and present and finding her place in life.
HML is a lot better paced than LYOL imo, even if the main plot is a bit dull. The characters are much more likeable there too.
Lead couple are as adorable with a great chemistry and lots of banter, mutual support and small skinship with each other.

Things HML did better:
Same unfortunate obsessive second lead nonsense trope, in HML it is SFL instead SML, but it is handled much better than in LYOY. She is shown as unreasonable for the majority of the time while LYOL lacks that too much thus far.
Maknae couple is cute and has good development in there instead of being just annoying as hell.
Likable secondary couples with well developed progress, unlike LYOL thus far.
Antagonists are challenged regularly instead of being left to their evil devices.
Development of main/lead couple's relationship has a clear line and progress without the artificial "we can't be together" nonsense.

Female lead with lost parents.
Multiple younger and older cute couples everywhere!
OSTs have the same vibe.

Both dramas are about an adopted child whose biological mom is a rich CEO. Both children grew up in a household opposite of what they would have grown up in if they were living with their biological parents. In Sunny Again Tomorrow the biological mom tries to look for her lost child but in Homemade Love Story the mom thinks the daughter is dead. The moms both meet their children without knowing they are related and end up hurting their children in a way. The main couple in both dramas started out on the wrong foot but end up falling in love with each other. The second female leads in both dramas also like the male lead and are jealous of the relationship that he has with the female lead. Both dramas are set around the fashion industry. In Sunny Again Tomorrow the biological mom is rivals with her daughter's company and in Homemade Love Story the daughter works at her mom's company.

Both are long weekend family dramas that deal with intertwining households. Both have a birth secret of sorts (though less important in The Real Has Come). They also focus on adoption and the concept of family. Both are very over the top and they also have relationships that aren't technically incest but get a little close through different family connections. That isn't really a selling point (more of a warning lol), but if you're into one, you'll definitely like the other!

- Both dramas are based in a share house
- The residents of the share houses eventually become like a large family
- Both dramas see the poor female leads struggle a lot and receive a lot of support from their respective male leads
- Both male leads come from rich famlies
- Both dramas are a delight to watch!
