They're both great dramas
Both Historical
Battle of Changsha is a C Drama, while Queen Seon Duk is a K Drama
Battle of Changsha is more about war, while queen seonduk shows the life of a princess who had to run away.

The stories happen in similar times but from different aspects. They both focus on common people's lives and we see character development. Both of them feel realistic but Battle of Changsha is more tragedic. Both have romance but not heavy and have different focuses.

I usually dislike war/action themed dramas, but Battle of Changsha is way more than just that. The drama revolves around the Hu family and their struggles. Like 1988, I came to care deeply for each of the characters. Both are more realistic/character-driven drama, though Battle of Changsha has a more serious tone to it. This was one of the first Cdramas I started to watch (bc I'm running out of Kdrama lol), but it was AMAZINGGG.

Police officer Pang Hong Mei amid the many obstacles created by U.S. and Jiang spy agents, rescued Ji Danyang, a patriotic scientist who returned from the United States from the enemy spy. She accompanied Ji Danyang to Lumen City to participate in the "Water Drop Project". Enemy special forces formulated a sabotage plan codenamed "Operation Rock" and concentrated their forces and tried to destroy the "Water Drop Project." Pang Hongmei and Ji Dan Yang fought a life-and-death battle with enemy agents in Lumen, thwarted the enemy's conspiracy, protected the "Water Drop Project" and finally achieved the expected success. The couple who went through the test of life and death, also realized their dreams and firm ideals.

Both have the similiar time story: during the japanese invasion in china. Battle of Changsha has less romance than romance in the rain, but with more family, and more war actions.

Both C-drama are in the same war era. Very intense. Solid good acting. Plotting, surviving, pain, family, tears hate, own people different parties, Japanese controlling, bromance

They are set in different times and countries but they have some similarities. They both have the "indipendence" element against Japanese colonialization (in BoC more). Both have great (and mature ) romance and respect between the leads. They are VERY different but I feel like many people who watched one or vice versa will be satisfied. Both are great dramas and have great characters which you will be connected with.

Its really good and is also set in nearly the same time period and conflict with Japan yet in Korea. Female lead is super badass too

The Battle of Changsha depicts the war between the Japanese and Changsha and other Chinese Cities. Very good series!!!

Although it is a bit different, I found these two very similar in the end. I felt like they shared the same theme, war, tragedies, heartbreaking romance, and family relations.

The Mystic Nine ends at the same time the Battle of Changsha starts. The Mystic Nine takes place a few years before the first battle of Changsha and is centered around tomb raiding. While these two dramas are unrelated to each other in terms of plot and genre, if you want to watch something after The Mystic Nine that is in the same time period, then you should watch Battle of Changsha.

-Same director
-Similar casts
-Similar drama period
-Same production team

But Battle of Changsha is a lot better and All Quiet in Beijing needs patience and a little boring. If u like politics or historcial drama, this is one of a kind

Both dramas are set around the same era, with a military ML and an innocent FL forced to grow up quickly after enduring hardship and tragedy.

Eyes of Dawn focuses on the Japenese side of the Sino-Japanese war from 1938 onward. It adds another perspective to what was going on at the time.
This drama also touchs on the fighting after the sino-Japanese war in China.
