King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo (2010)

Both involve cooking theme, with lead character trying to achieve their goals through cooking,Both involve the journey of young men to master the art of cooking

They both have very likeable main characters who capture your heart, and the side characters are well developed. They're both well rounded, and invoke a spectrum of emotions - happiness, tears, laughter, etc. They're both amazing dramas. While they're both long, they're also entertaining from the first episode to the last.

Both are about food, love, friendship, brothers and some family secrets. But King of Baking is far more melodramatic, while Sukina na Hito ga Iru Koto is more peaceful and slow.

Both cast the same male lead, and both is about searching for fathers and finding success in the respective industry.

Both related to food industry.
ML escapes from gangster group joins the food family.
Half Brothers work together without knowing the identity at first.
But king of baking is more intriguing and good than FF.

- The main character faces numerous hardships and obstacles, in order to reach his dreams. Through his struggles he faces his most hated enemy, but goes through healing with the help of his new found friendships.
- The male character has a childhood first love and a potential new love. Who will he end up with?
- Both dramas have a food theme, where the ML is an underdog. In Itaewon, the ML wants to open up a successful restaurant and in Baker King the ML wants to be the best baker.

Both drama is a family related drama. If you are into family drama then this is a MUST.
Plot is really good with amazing actors. The drama is bewitching and addicting that I couldn't stop my self for recommending it
Though it is not entirely comedy but has it's moments.It has everything u can ask for and the best part is ending is happy and won't disappoint you.

Both theme about food. Bread love and dream is more focus on relationship and drama than Tenno no Ryoriban. But both also has a strong theme about family.

Both are about baking and pursuing a dream. This drama has a more heavy conflict with the main character being an illegitimate child of a Bread company CEO.

Both are 30 episode makjang melodramas done extremely well. They both have birth secrets, revenge, a lot of heart warming moments, great acting and writing. They are both a lot of fun to watch.

in both main charaters have optimistic view to life what helps them get ower hard times and find their place in world.Both dramas are actually about priceless things in our life and both dramas have great actors.

has the same sort of feel about it. the male lead looks for his mother that had gone missing.

While the two dramas don't really look similar at first glance, there were a lot of similarities in term of the love rival and family confict plotlines. Not to mention that both dramas had Jun Kwangryul and the late Jeon Misun playing similar roles as parents of the protagonist.
