NOT BAD FOR THE BL BEGINNERS!!!!
2gether the Series is too noisy in social media and even have million views in every episode that is why I gave it a try and actually this is My first ever BL series. I enjoy watching the whole series. Then I watched Sotus, Until We meet Again and Together with me. Comparing 2gether with this 3 series, well aside from good visuals the lead actors have in 2gether nothing else can be the reason to rewatch the series. The Story, development of each characters and even the acting of the lead actors, 2gether is definitely too far behind...Cet avis était-il utile?
you have to consider to watch this series
first, in early episode i really love this series. the story when tine and sarawat become a fake couple is really good, but after episode 6, the stories become bland and meh... imo sarawat and tine become so awkward when doing intimate scenes eventhough they've been a couple not fake couple anymore.if i have to be honest, The Untamed who has supposed to be Bromance drama is more romance than this series. even when the untamed is'nt have a kiss , i could see and sense the romantic feeling with wei ying and lan zhan. but with 2gether even when they kiss or just pat a head or even they've declared that they are couple, i can't sense anything related a romance.
Overall : i dissapointed with this series progress
definitely won't rewatch again

started off well, ended poorly
Im ashamed to call myself a bright(win) stan when I haven't finished this series, but I just couldn't watch any further because I was scared that I would only get (more) disappointed. You may be wondering how I know this ends badly when I stopped at episode 9, 4 eps before the end, but trust me I know how this story ends. I'm just not keen on seeing it play out. This series was the standard case of the leads having more chemistry and couple-like scenes when they were flirting/not 2gether, than when they were finally "dating". I call it "dating" because it just seemed more like an awkward "no-homo-bro...but—" bromance, instead of two guys, who acknowledge that they're gay/attracted to each other, dating each other officially.
It was just cringe.
This show on its own is cringe, but not so much that it's hard to swallow down. It helps that the leads are hot, and that they mostly are really trying. But, bro, this show was lowkey a mess (in terms of both plot, and chemistry).
Now the plot could be shit for all I care, what I stick around for is the chemistry (most of the times.....TharnType I'm looking at you....) but this show fell flat in terms of chemistry so much.
Sure, both the lead actors are straight but I never asked them that? Harsh but true. Don't let me know bro. Then I feel sorta awkward/bad bearing witness to Win's uncomfortable smile while they're hugging or something. Win is cute because msot of the times his face shows exactly what he's feeling, but then- it also shows EXACTLY what he's feeling, and in most scenes **quiet discomfort**. Bruh, I dont wanna be watching a show where the leads have the same energy both off and on camera. It's Win being uncomfy most times (whenever its about like more romantic stuff) and Bright either seeming not to mind, or seeming to because it's making Win go "ęughghdh....."
But anyways, this show is cute. It's something to watch if you wanna see an attempt at making a BL with the best aesthetics, but pretty bad execution. Many scenes are AWKWARD ASF, but I feel like these actors genuinely tried their best, and for Win's first series, and Bright's first BL, it wasn't HORRIBLE. Many of the side characters were great (Green's actor, Gun, love you <3 So hilarious XD You could tell he was genuinely getting a kick outta that role lmao. Also, Tine's friend group all shares half a brain cell and I was living for it. This show is great, when it DOESN'T try to be a BL. Yikes). The crew must have worked hard, and I can only hope the next BLs we get can top this. At least there's gonna be a sequel!
But, if S2 isn't 10x better and more natural I'm suing for damages. Peace out.

This is my first Thai BL story I watched, at first, I thought this is just a so-so series where that main characters do clumsy and act cute for the viewers. But man, I'm wrong. I got invested to it. I love how the characters are unapologetically in love with each other. I love how it was not overly sexualised like most of the gay films I watched. And less dramatic. They are just simply cute and lovin' it. No wonder this series trend and have so many fans. Bright and Win are so cute and act awesomely together.
I would really recommend this for everyone.

A Fallen Star
Things I appreciated:1/ GMM always has a great budget behind their projects lately, and they also have good directors and staff in their company. As such, the drama's production value was good. The cinematography was very good, the background music was nicely placed and didn't feel overbearing, the editing of the scenes that were shown was done well as well.
2/ Win Metawin is a wonderful actor. His ability to act out emotional scenes was really impressive.
3/ Apart from him, most of the other actors such as Toptap, Gun (Gus), Mike, Khaotung, etc — also did a very good job at playing their roles.
Things I didn't like:
1/ Yes, Bright may be a very handsome individual and just watching him on the screen with the light just falling on his brown hair giving off a halo might just take everyone's breath away — but I can still not ignore the fact that he didn't do as well of a convincing job playing a man in love with Tine.
I think that Bright can do dark or grey roles very well. But playing a cute romantic role is still not something he has mastered, and then add his pair being a man.
He just couldn't do it well for me. He seemed like the weak link and had a choice of 2-3 expressions in his face all the time.
2/ Sarawat and Tine seemed more bromance than Chinese pairs in actual dramas tagged bromance like "Advance Bravely" and "The Untamed" — even though they smacked lips twice. Chemistry? Nowhere to be found if looked with open eyes. Level 100 delulu required.
Moreover, in the end, Wat made the mistake, then wrote a song that portrayed him as the victim, sang it in front of a large audience — again, making himself the victim — then pretended to act as if he was the hurt one and Tine was the heartless one. Sis. That was not fair.
3/ Man and Type were the only couple that was the highlight of this show. Even though they didn't even kiss once, their love and affections were more convincing than Sarawat and Tine whose chemistry was almost nonexistent.
4/ Mil and Kong should not have ended up together. Kong was just a second choice for Mil, and no one should be an option. Once again GMM has done FrankDrake major dirty.
5/ The drama seemed to deserve the hype for the first 1/3 of the drama. Then it just dropped down in quality (plot-wise and chemistry wise) and stared to feel underwhelming and overhyped.
6/ Also, while I enjoy some of Scrubb songs. I got tired of listening to Scrubbs entire discography by the end of this show.
That is all. If you enjoyed it, I am happy for you. For me, though, this is average. And overhyped.
I gave it a 7/10 even though the review thing suggests I give it a 7.5 for ManType.

I would suggest watching this series for these reasons :
1. Misery loves company, so watch n join my pain and disappointment.
2. The first few episodes were so good and almost made you believe that there was no COVID in this worldand gave you hope to live.
3. The lead actors are so good looking with beautiful hair.
4. Scrubb songs that you will be introduced to.
5. Last but not the least and the best reason - so you can understand and then read the reviews here and their comments, it’s hilarious. I wish one of these reviewers were the script writers.
2020 really is ruining everything, I don’t think we can blame the director or scriptwriters.

The cast is really good but I have to talk about Bright Vachirawit (as Sarawat), Win Metawin (as Tine) and Gunsmile Chanagun (as Boss). The way Bright portrays the emotions of Sarawat is gold. You can clearly see how he's feeling the deeper into the show and plot we're going. For it being Win's first series, he's really professional and he's really delivering the overly energized Tine. As well as Bright, the deeper into the plot we're going, you can clearly see in his eyes what he's actually feeling despite him saying otherwise/nothing. As for Gunsmile, he never fails to bring up the mood. Hilarious guy and in all comedy roles I've seen him in, he's always delivering. He's playing Munggorn in Sotus and what's there not to love about the dude?
The OSTs are lovely. I haven't skipped the intro once, just so I get to hear one of the OSTs. All OSTs are on my spotify playlists and I actually said this to my friend today, "I love ALL the music so much, even these music "breaks" during some scenes. I just love it!". Not much to say about them more than that they're really great.
Will I ever rewatch it? Already have, twice. It's so wholesome and a really nice break from what's going on around in the world right now. 2gether had brought me nothing but genuine happiness (my mouth literally hurts from smiling!!) and I couldn't wish for anything else right now. With everything on the news, this weird situation where I'm doing online classes and my parents work from home every now and again, it's a really nice escape. Now that we're all pretty much stuck at home and can't really go out to meet friends every day, I recommend giving this show a shot. There's really nothing to lose.
Honestly, I'm off go rewatch it now. If I had to rate this out of all thai series I've ever watched, it's safe to say that it makes top 2. (Until We Meet Again still has my heart + it's different to compare 2gether and UWMA as they're so different)

I don't know where to start with this series. Novel of this series had so much detailed and very intense love scenes but in series it is way far from romance its just brotherly love and at star you will like their (bight and win) cute attraction to one another but after they are a couple you will just observe a brotherly love I mean me and my friends were discussing and every one agreed that at least there could have been an intensive kiss and small details like touching neck or checks and all that and the BIG MISTAKE was in LAST EPISODE I think it was filmed before even most of the episode when they had no chemistry thats why Last Episode had ZERO Chemistry. They ruined a greater story-line with good actors Cet avis était-il utile?

This was the first BL I watched, so I held it in pretty high regard the first time that I watched it. This show has gotten a lot of hate since it's release, some of it is understandable. Firstly, some of the actors get a lot of hate for this show but I don't think the acting is the problem. The characters in the show are pretty 2-Dimensional, we don't really know anything about them outside of what is happening in that moment. We do get some backstory with Sarawat, but it's just to show that he's been in love with Tine all this time. I love the cast so much, I think they did the best they could given their roles.
There's a lot of talk that this is more of a bromance than a BL, and I had a hard time understanding why until recently. But, I don't think it's for the reasons that many people think. First, sometimes I think people use the bromance criticism whenever there's not a lot of skinship in a drama. That's not the only reason some people call this a bromance drama, but it is part of it and in my opinion skinship doesn't make or break a drama. I think Bright gets a lot of hate for this role because he's "too straight to play a gay man" (which is ironic, because Bright isn't straight). Bright was not the one I had a hard time believing, sometimes it seems like Win doesn't feel comfortable playing a gay man. And not in a homophobic way, just in that this was his first big role and he had a hard time playing the part of a gay man. I will say, they definitely looked more comfortable playing a couple in Still 2gether. That isn't to say Win's acting is bad in 2gether, I actually think he did a great job. I just, personally, had a harder time believing Tine liked Sarawat compared to the other way around.
The unfortunate thing with this drama, was that it had a promising start and the writers added unnecessary drama in the end which ruined the drama for a lot of people. I was watching this when it was coming out, I remember watching fans' opinions change in real time because of the last two episodes. From my understanding, Pam wasn't even meant to be a villain from the books. They just made Tine jump to conclusions for no reason. I personally felt like Man and Type had a more satisfying ending than the main leads. I think the writers even recognized that, because they spent the first 20 or so minutes of Still 2gether explaining/justifying the end of 2gether.
Overall, I don't think it's the best BL ever, but it's a cute watch. It's kind of my baseline BL, simply because it was my first. It's not my favorite, but it's comforting to rewatch (as long as I pretend that it ends on episode 11).
Also, please understand that this review is based in my personal opinion.

Jumpy pacing, weird editing, Half-baked acting
Having heard so much about this one and how iconic of a BL it was, I really went into this with high expectations. And unfortunately, I was so disappointed. The drama seemed off from the start. The dialogue is quippy — and almost constantly. There's barely any room for conversation that sounds natural or is more serious because they're always joking or making banter to upbeat music. I constantly felt like I was missing something, like the development between the characters was constantly skipping steps and we were rushing to get to the certain moments. I grew confused about what the relationships between characters were, like if there was a love triangle that suddenly appeared and disappeared.
I also think the editing for the show was off. It jumped from scene to scene, often giving me whiplash. I think the drama was in dire need of more "transition" scenes (think lingering on people just spending time together, cutting to empty sets, scenic views before going into the other plotlines). Instead the show sometimes would cut from one story directly to another during what seemed like in the middle of a scene. But other than that, even the editing for scenes sometimes seemed weirdly cut.
I also didn't really connect to the acting of any characters; part of this is because of the previous two comments — the pacing and dialogue didn't give the characters or actors time to marinate. The leads have their moments that really put a smile on my face, but other than that, I still didn't really feel that the emotional scenes were earned or convincing. The chemistry fluctuates. As for the side characters, I didn't care at all about their stories at all, and the chemistry also wasn't there.
I know most people were most disappointed by the ending and the lack of intimacy between the characters. I definitely do agree with this to some extent. Adding overblown drama in the form of a cliche misunderstanding in the penultimate episode really wasted time, especially when the plot point felt like something that should've come earlier. The truth is, though, that by the time I got there, I already didn't feel any stakes or emotional investment.
Overall, this is a drama that might've been big when it came out, but I've personally seen way better BLs — better plot, better chemistry — that have come out since then. Two that I've recently watched: Bad Buddy and Not Me.

WHY is this so popular?
no, sorry i just dont get it.The story was below average. Pretty boring and it also brought nothing new to the table. I skipped quite a lot of scenes (the guitar scenes were the worst!)
and sooo much unnecessary drama.... and the kisses were so awkward. help.
I only finished it because it is so popular, but after finishing it, I can only call it overrated and overhyped as fuck!
It really does not deserve the success and attention it got.
The cast:
They are handsome and they are not bad at acting.
However, they had no connection with the characters whatsoever. It was just so bland.
Till the end, they did NOT seem like they were in love with eachother or like they were enjoying playing their characters.
This is more like a bromance than a romance. No chemistry.
(And everyone in the drama was going crazy over Sarawatts visuals (he is good looking of course) but because he is not my type at all, thats why all the fangirling was really weird and cringe for me to watch)
None of the side characters were memorable either. Most of them were cringe and gave me severe secondhand embarassment.
The music:
probably the best thing in this drama.
Conclusion:
i will not waste my time and rewatch it. I really see no reason to torture me again.
I can't recommend it. (unless you are looking for a bromance like cliché loverstory)
and if you watch it and find yourself not really enjoying it, just dont finish it. Nothing cool or sexy happens anyway.

How to make something good become no big deal.
2theger has a very promissing plot but it fails to serve its purpose. The series starts very well, good acting, most of the cast is good looking, it presents the characters well and a very nice opening theme. But it stops there, the couple showed more chemistry when they were faking its relationship than we they were actualing dating, the plot itself started to not make sense from there. If the series had overed on the episode which Salawak asks Tine to be his boyfrind would've been better.
And Mil, omg he's bad and a freaking stalker, and in the end he just ended with his consolation prize, Phukong. Upsetting that's the word, Mil does a lot of bad thing and makes Phukong as a second option. By the way Phukong has absolutely no pride, THE FUCKING BOY YOU LIKE IF FUCKING TRYING TO STEAL YOUR BOTHER'S BOYFRIEND WTF GIRL YOU DESERVE BETTER... sorry this part really gets me.
Anyway I hope in the second season Sarawak and Tine show more afection towards each other and Mil get what he deserves which is eternal lonliness.
Really enjoyed the OST !!!
