Starting with its strongest point: it's characters; their often mismatched personalities where the most enjoyable thing to watch. Besides the usual quiet but oh-so-quirky female lead and the bad-guy-is-actually-good male protagonist, there's more complex people that the drama could've explored further. Like the boy with dreams of being a tattoo artists that was the class's president, or the pretty, popular girl with fears of being abandoned; the fun and outspoken best friend of the female lead and even that one cute boy with a bad past with the police that we saw so briefly. There was so much hidden... diversity that I feel that the writers preferred to play it safe with a typical cliché love triangle and two leads that we find almost everywhere in dramas.
The plot, much like its characters, was surprisingly both bleak and unexpected, laced with the usual teen, high school romance based moments but with still some charm and personality to it here and there. The cast felt odd at first; it was hard for me to picture them actually playing teenagers, in high school, when their looks and voices wouldn't match the part. But their performances were nice, and so was the pacing of events.
Other thing that I thought could've been done better is the use of their osts. If I wasn't told that they were sung by NCT U, I would never have guessed it nor believed it. If you have such a good marketing "object", you should promote it wisely and make the most out of it.

It's nice to binge watch. It doesn't really have a deeper message (like A-Teen does), so it's very light.
What bugged me the most was "the guy changes himself for the girl" - even if it's only his hair and uniform. I really don't like it when people in dramas or movies do that without realizing there's no point in changing for someone. You should change for yourself, not for others. Whether it's your appearance or attitude.
I was also a little disappointed with the acting. The female lead was pretty emotionless. I'm sure all of these actors will get better in time tho.

Speaking of her, she starts out rather bland, so it seems surprising that she'd end up attracting not only one, but two charismatic boys. About midway through I thought her character developed more of a spark, and that made me feel more okay with who she ended up with.
I also didn't feel as bad as usual for the other ML when he lost out in his quest for the FL because he got a consolation prize of sorts.
There's an underlying message in this series that people can change for the better when they have the support and care of those around them. These are friends who accept each other for who they are, know how to keep a confidence, and apologize when they know they've done wrong. It's a good choice for when you want to take a breather between gritty thrillers and angsty melodramas.

This mini series is watchable because its mini lol
*Things i liked about it... :)
- well it was short! That's it ...!
* things i didn't liked about it... :(
- the lead girl....ughhhhh!! Why was she so expressionless in a romantic drama...! 3 men were hitting on her and she always seemed clueless and naive. Like idk what's happening...i am so good to know anything...blah blah~~
- NO CHEMISTRY!!! i liked the second lead with her more...!
- i thought they will tell us some serious issues which every high schooler face...they tried it!! Yes they did...but nooo...! It was a failure.
- very predictable story with good actors given support roles...!
@Honourable mentions which made this drama cute -
Joo hyun young (her bestie)
Kim so yeon ( the bitch who turned fairy)
Lee hyeong seok ( very very small role but he was hot man)

cute and quick
Predictable, nothing special but a nice little quick drama to have in the background.Acting was adorable and awkward at times but the cast all were pretty cute.
Storyline was whatever - typical days at school, festival etc etc... but still had its moments.
Liked the music and really just a pretty average watch. Wasn't horrible, wasn't that good just watchable?
Nonetheless, if you're looking for something light to have in the background, this is it!

The main idea was actually pretty great, especially since the main actors had chemistry. And, for a school drama, it was an interesting twist on the classic first love stories. There was depth into the story actually, with the stalker boy who used his parent's status to get away with his behavior. However, that element, as well as the storyline about the stalker's friend who had enough, the the second lead's parents and the second female lead's story, were not properly presented. The leading lady, in addition, often played the demsal in dispare, and just stood there staring at her attackers, which was a bit awkward. The drama got a bit boring towards the end as well.
So, overall, six out of ten.

There are some plot holes that are still left unanswered and I wish they were explored more (like the ex-boyfriend subplot), but there seems to be a Season 2 so I'll let that slide for now.
The OST is also surprisingly catchy.

Just like many other school web dramas out there, The Best Mistake had the typical k-drama formula, but with a different twist, because it also showed viewers a bit about friendships. We learn that people can change for the good or the bad depending on who they hang out with, we also learn that real friends are there with you, and accept you for who you are without judgement.
Overall, I enjoyed watching the show that I even finished everything in one sitting. Although familiar from the other shows, there are elements in the drama that made it entertaining, attractive, and unique. Maybe its the production quality, the casting, or the acting? but it worked!

I've seen this many times before, and done better
Web series, which isn't bad in and of itself. I've seen many that manage to pack a lot into each short episode. Here, however, that didn't happen. The overall show was pretty bland. Typical high school/bullying storyline. However, I would say, for the bully that was after the female lead, someone should have called the police on him, because he was a stalker! One of my problems with this was that the guys all looked so much alike, especially once the ML dyed his hair. The female lead was pretty boring, so I couldn't understand all the interest in her. Add to that the fact that motives for people's actions were never explained fully, it was hard to get invested in the characters.
It filled an evening while I decide what to watch next, but that's about all I can say about it.
