Every Character Needs Therapy ASAP !!

Okay , the Tap and Ping situation is so lame and I’m getting hella tired of the lack of communication from Fahlan and Sher like wtf. I get why Fah is mad at Sher and Prince bc it’s like he told them the excessive touching and pda makes him uncomfortable and they continuously make it a point to do it directly in his presence. Also Sher not making it clear what their relationship is annoying af and I understand why Fah is frustrated but at the same time he needs to stand tf up bc how many times does somebody need to tell you AND show you that they’re not serious about you.
Overall after giving it some thought this show is BAD. Firstly the portrayal of a toxic and abuse relationship that’s seemingly normalized in this series and secondly the lack of communication in all three relationships but especially in FahSher and PingTap is damn near unbearable. And I mean I kinda get what the creators were going for with this storyline (that all relationships aren’t perfect or whatever trying to show more substance) but god damn they took it to an extreme bc why am I watching Sher beat on Fah every episode .. and Fah doing nothing about it but crying (also having no support) and his friends/ other schoolmates even encouraging him to make up with Sher ?!?!! Sher needs his ass beat , Fahlan needs some self respect and a backbone and EVERYBODY in this show needs to go to therapy expeditiously .. ughhhh

Do not waste your time.

I’ve never written a review but felt compelled to stop others wasting their time. The story could have been really good but the way it was produced was very disjointed and quite repetitive. I was pee’d off in the first episode when a trans girl was misgendered for the sake of comedy, so I had my back up before the story really started. The lead actors were having the least convincing romance ever. Their kissing was comical! Actually I do recommend watching a kissing scene just for comedy value, I would describe it as two dead fish kissing each other. I can’t explain how bad it was without giving spoilers, so all I’ll do is recommend a much better, underrated BL to watch instead…….. why not give why R U? A try instead? It’s 100x better lol

What happens when 2 toxic people like each other?

This series certainly doesn't answer that question. It is a convoluted mess of multiple characters all concerned about just one goal and that is to get the 2 leads to be in a relationship. The story line had so much potential but the writer just couldn't understand what to do with the 2 toxic leads and just added multiple characters with no other motivation but to hope and pray that these 2 seriously broken people fall in love.
To summarize, the story, is about two playboys who meet and decide to be friends with benefits. But the first lead (Fahlan) can't help himself from being jealous, become a push-over and get punched and slapped multiple times. Next we have Sherbert, who can't stop himself from fighting with Fahlan over everything, cry, drink, forgive Fahlan, have sex, rinse and repeat.
And then you have a wide variety of supportive characters who only talk about what Fah and Sher are doing. "Are they together? Have they broken-up? " OMG! find a hobby. So many characters have been introduced that you cant keep pace with what is happening. Fah's 2 friends, Sher's twin brother and his lover interest, and his half-brother, Sher's best friend and his love interest, a fujoshi and her love interest and other random set of characters that dont play any role in furthering the story. Instead they just tell you what you have already seen.
The strangest thing that I have seen in this series is the amount of time these characters go to eat or drink. In fact they just eat, talk, fight and drink and go back to eating. You can righfully call the food and drinks as supportive characters for how often its on screen and being talked about.
In conclusion, take heed from all the other reviews and either skip this series or watch it using the fast forward button like I did.

TENHA BAIXAS EXPECTATIVAS

Vamos lá, eu discordo de muitas coisas que foram ditas sobre essa série mas se tem uma coisa que não tem como negar é que é bem ruinzinha.
Basicamente a história começa mostrando que ambos os protagonistas vivem de encontros casuais com estranhos, com a diferença de que o Sherbet é mais inflexível e o Fahlan se deixa levar mais fácil.
O primeiro problema que eu tenho aqui é que as cenas eróticas são muito mal feitas, os beijos são estranhos e tudo parece muito bagunçado, o que era pra ser sexy e gostoso de se assistir acaba sendo um pouco vergonhoso pela má atuação.
Logo em seguida temos a questão do Fahlan querer algo um pouco mais sério e o Sherbet não, o que é legal de acompanhar no começo pois traz consistência pra história mas lá pra metade eu já estava cansada da mesma ladainha.
Sherbet tem traumas e isso é inegável mas ele brinca com os sentimentos do Fahlan conscientemente e fica no "quase" de fazer besteira várias vezes o que dificulta gostar do personagem.
Os tapas não são um problema pra mim. Os socos não são um problema pra mim. A traição no começo não é um problema pra mim (se não acontece entre os protagonistas não me interessa).
Relacionamentos não precisam ser perfeitos e viver dentro de uma caixinha irreal, principalmente se tratando de uma série que tem como único objetivo te entreter e não te ensinar nada.
Agora voltando aos erros dessa série porque são muitos, o casal principal briga muito e termina e volta o tempo todo na amizade colorida o que acaba sendo desgastante de acompanhar e o Sherbet nunca admite que está errado então acaba querendo que a relação seja só do jeito dele e sinceramente eu não sei como o Fahlan aguenta.
Então basicamente meus problemas são a falta de comunicação e os mal entendidos que arrastaram a história que já era sofrida pelas atuações medianas e situações cansativas. E detalhe, os protagonistas não parecem amigos de ninguém, é tudo muito unilateral no quesito amizade, os amigos dão e eles só recebem.
Tem uma coisa ou outra que se salva e no geral é até assistível, eu recomendo você ver por conta própria para ter uma opinião.

Segundo e terceiro casal

Só terminei por causa dos outros casais pq nunca vi um casal tão ruim como o principal
tirando o fato de que um deles tinha nojo de beijar
a atuação péssima
o roteiro só roda em torno de mal entendidos
eles viviam mais separados do que juntos
e quando tava juntos so tinha pegação um saco
os outros dois casais era uma luz no fim do tunel pra mim
eu pulava todas as vezes que tinha
cantoria muita vergonha alheia
eu nao sei pq tem que ter mais de 500 caracteres eu nao sei mais o que falar mas nao vale a pena nao gente ate pq os casais mais kegalzinhos tinha 1 segundo de tela e esses 1 segundo de tela era eles fofocando sobre o casal principal e soltando umas migalhas de flerte

Cringe-tastic

I've watched a LOT of BL and I gotta say this one has left me with the most mixed feelings.
First 4ish eps were the best and I binge watched the entire series. After that it got confusing where they started adding in random/unnecessary characters, the same dramatics and pitiful smackdowns. The MCs literally argued over the same thing everytime and the facial expressions of everyone had me cringe mode! The "hickies" had me dying. It's clear everyone is a new and upcoming actor so with that in mind the series wasn't too bad. There's a lot of gay people at that college and I believe everyone low key has a drinking problem lmao
Wouldn't recommend but not so bad I'd drop it

Mishap, over and over again.

The plot is there; but it kept being spoiled by drunken people, unnecessary intimacy moments and merely repeating bad plot twists. Repeating the same jealousy moment really did annoy me. "I understand how you feel" ee hia~

Part of me did plan to drop this story halfway; however, GearPrince & TapPing made me not to give me, as I wanted to know what happens to them. They are so adorable with each other. The drama was there; conflicts occurs and resolves it within short period - unlike the main characters.

I'll give it to James as he managed to carry two characters in the movie. He delivers them well by their own individual characteristic. Nevertheless all of them still need to somewhat amend their acting skills.

Their ost is nice. I loved it.

I thought it was good... I was wrong.

At first, I only watched two episodes and took a looooong break from seeing BLs (as I always do), but the last note I wrote was "So cute and horny at the same time!!!"... I changed my mind, this series is a HOT MESS, some couples are cute like Prince & Gear and Ping & Tap, but them being so dependent of Fah & Sher to develop makes them worst, and let's not even discuss Fah & Sher bc this couple is so so SO toxic. The advertisement of thar serum was so on my face that always got me out of the fantasy of the show. A lot of couples, storylines and characters that should've been more developed didn't, like Pink & Tar, Sher's relationship with his father, Tam's boyfriend's amnesia (he was so forgetable, i'm sorry lol) and Charles. And another thing recurrent in these BLs, not just Fahlanruk, that I hate is putting femme boys as villains, there's not a femme one who isn't annoying or straight up evil, that's messy. Anyways, if it wasn't for those two other couples ' little development and Namwan being the smartest person in this whole show, this would've been a 1/10, unfortunately. Some of them are cute, and need another chance than THIS, even tho their acting skills aren't the greatest, but this is very normal in these shows.

Serien är undervärderad

Jag tycker den här serien är riktigt undervärderad! Jag har sett ett stort antal BL-serier, och även om jag själv har tendens att sätta höga värderingar så tycker jag ändå medeltalen som syns alltid ger en bra indikation på om serien är sevärd eller inte. I jämförelse med andra BL-serier skulle jag sätta den snäppet högre än "En of Love: Love Mechanics".

Det tog några avsnitt att komma in i storyn, men den är väl värd sina timmar! Tonkhao och James lyckas båda förmedla sina känslor till mig, och det är mycket känslor med! Hoppas se dem i flera serier, tillsammans eller var för sig!

Casal terapia+Chernobyl

Demorei muito a escrever uma resenha, aliás, terminei essa série na força do ódio, apenas pq não gosto de dropar nada. Quanta expectativa criada... desde esperando essa série, e quando finalmente ela está entre nós, vejo um dos piores roteiros já adaptados. Eu tento entender onde está o maior problema, se no roteiro, na direção péssima, na atuação ruim, nos beijos horríveis, são tantas coisas negativas que nada escapou.

A série tinha tudo pra ser excelente, um plot diferente (com alguns clichês, mas diferente), um público ávido à espera, belos protagonistas... o que saiu errado?

A série já começa com situações que desagradam o público BL: traições. Fah saía com Tle, não o assumia como namorado, apesar de fazê-lo pensar que ele o era, e o traiu descaradamente com Sher, e o pior de tudo é que se apaixonou e optou por correr atrás de Sher sem resolver sua situação com Tle, tudo isso com a ajuda de seus amigos. E aproveitando o aparte, que amigo deselegante é o Ping, totalmente intrometido, invasivo, credo...
Tle por sua vez, já havia entendido que Fah era galinha e também estava traindo ele com Nont, então, por que motivo os dois optaram pela traição? Se Fah, que inclusive já sabia do caso de Tle, não tivesse pego no flagra, até onde os dois arrastariam essa situação?

Resolvido esse problema, partimos para Sher, que por motivos pessoais tem medo do amor, e todas as vezes que se vê rendido por Fah, parte para a agressão. Nunca vi um casal tão violento, terapia para Sher pelo amor de Deus, o cara não pode ser contrariado que parte para a violência, e terapia para Fah que aceita tudo isso. Outro problema de Sher é a relação tóxica com seu amigo Prince. Tóxica porque ele usa a amizade verdadeira que Prince sente, para afugentar seus possíveis pretendentes, mesmo sabendo que Gear e Prince se gostam ele fica no meio dos dois, de início fazendo todos pensarem que ele e Prince eram um casal, e depois permitindo que a amizade deles fosse um ponto de discórdia com Gear e Fah. Uma coisa era eles serem amigos e solteiros, fingirem um relacionamento e se tratarem com uma intimidade própria de casais. Outra coisa é manter esse mesmo comportamento estando os dois comprometidos. Óbvio que a amizade dele por Prince é verdadeira, não discordo disso, mas ele é egoísta o suficiente para se colocar em primeiro lugar na vida do outro, ignorando que está atrapalhando um relacionamento.

Houveram momentos em que achei que viria um plow twist bombástico para colocar fogo na série, como a aparição de gêmeo, como a paixonite de Pai por Fah, o aparecimento de Charles e o fato de Sher ficar com Apo durante a viagem de Fah, mas nada disso rendeu nada além de mais violência entre os dois.

Atuação mediana, cenas de beijo horríveis entre os protagonistas (o beijo que salvou foi o de Ping e Tap), histórias sem sentido algum aparecendo de todos os lados, ost péssima e fotografia irrelevante. Isso tudo fora o grau de toxidade da relação Chernobyl de Fah e Sher.
