Cringy boring cry fest
I dropped this like a hot rotten potato. It was just super boring and very cringy. I was going to rip out all of my hair and probably my eyeballs if Pharm cried one more time trauma or not, so the best solution for me was to drop this.You are suffering from “severe trauma” but instead of you to go to therapy and see a psychologist, you don’t, then what do you do, you cry and cry and cry incessantly, every f*cking ep. The tears were beyond ridiculous I stopped caring and didn’t give 2 f*cks how he and Dean turned out, hence the drop.
Dropped this so obviously the rewatch value is Zero but since that’s not an option 1/10 it is.
Overall is 1/10 also.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this cringy boring cry fest dubbed a series.

Nothing to look forward to
When first watching this it seems to have some potential. But any suspense or twists are quickly resolved or non-existent. The acting is only so-so in my mind; neither actors are very good at crying it seems, which is a huge part of this drama whenever they remember part of their past lives. I could appreciate Dean a little more than Pharm. I did not enjoy his actor much, and for all the times they were supposed to be growing closer, Pharm resisted far too much and either made Dean look pushy, or like Pharm wasn't into him. Maybe it was supposed to come off as cute, but it didn't work for me. Without much else going on in the plot, this drama is a lot of fluff between the two with what seems like no end-point, and I found it boring. I didn't finish this one.Cet avis était-il utile?

So I read some review certainly far more critical than this one will be, and I think I'm probably far too generous with this particular show (which, in hindsight, makes me want to go back to others I rated and demolish them).While I particulary enjoyed the simplicity of the storyline, notably the absence of what I call the "side character one-sided lover/bitch" and the lack of "no, don't be gay, don't ruin your life for me"-pity arc, there was also severals problems.
First : some characters were introduced, obviously with some kind of story in mind, and just disappeared. I'm thinking of Alex, who obviously would have been a "one-sided lover/bitch" with a stalker potential... but wasn't and was never mentionned for several episods. His character have essentially no purpose, no raison d'être so... why ? (I mean, if it was to show that Pharm is a soft character who needs protection from the more "hard" Dean... well, it was already implied and unneeded by the fact that he suffers from several phobia).
Second : side characters like Team and Manaow, while more present in the storyline, don't get there story except at some point (I was quite shocked when Team goes to Win's place because of his insomnia like it's a common occurence... even thought I missed an episode). So, either don't mention it at all or give them a consistent storyline with enough appearances to back it up.
Third : it's probably a mix of cultural differences and what I feel are bad choices from the director but... everyone accept far too easily that Pharm and Dean are the reincarnation of Intouch and Korn . (I.E Pharm 's granpa/Korn's dad who immediately know where Pharm went without ever meeting him and knowing absolutely nothing about him and his history)
I won't go in too much detail about the screenwriting, cuz I didn't take notes while watching each episode and wasn't focus on that (also, it's been a while since I took film analysis in Uni). What I can say about it, because it jumped to my face... too much staring/kissing scenes who take too much times. We get it : they love each other, the emotions are intense... no need to ruin that by making us watch them feeling those for three to five minutes and bore us too death.
To be brief : quite good overall, in terms of story and acting, some problems wih the director's choices.
I probably won't rewatch it, not because I don't think it's bad, just because I won't feel the need. I will remember it as a good drama, and in the BL genra certainly as one of the best. You can say all you want about TharnType or Lovesick, which apparently are held to be la crème de la crème of BL by some, they're not that good and certainly not as much as UWMA. (Which says a lot about what standards scriptwriters and directors have to respect)

Empty, Emotionless, Personality-Less Love Interest
The Love Interest guy is simply an empty shell with no soul inside. The actor of that Love Interest is so so so bad.The Protagonist is amazing. I really saw emotions and reactions within him. However, this brought contrast of acting between the two leads to an even more obvious point. It presented how realistic and genuine Protagonist seems and how empty and emotionless the Love Interest seems.
Also, I think the problem is also that Love Interest has bad lines and zero personality, so he can't express himself fully, or at all.
In any case, I've watched a few amazing BL dramas recently and I have no patience for this low-quality production of cheap emotion and bad acting.
I think my main problem is really in the way the Love Interest is portrayed. I'd honestly just want to stay for Team and Win...

this is the most non toxic series I've been watching in my entire life but tbh, the side couple are more attractive than the main one. not their looks i mean because both couple are so damn hot.. but their acting and the way they communicate with each other are not boring compared to the main couple. and the reason why i dropped this series is because it getting boring and i only love to watch the side couple (but their scenes are not that a lot) but then i figured out the main couple have a conflict in the last episode which make it even worse. like hello??? why so late?? and i think rn i can even make a lot of thai desserts thank to this show LMAOO anyways this series is not that bad if u can handle it. but i can't i almost fall asleep in the middle of their cooking session.Cet avis était-il utile?
Medicore at best
Well. Let me start off by saying that if you're also a person with ADHD, welcome to the daydream club! You will find that this movie is very slow. Everything about it is slow. The scenes drag on for too long, without much happening. One moment, you'll just see Pharm cry. And cry. And cry. And dream. And cry. I had a really hard time keeping my focus, because not much really goes on. And when the main couple has a scene, it's often just very emotional, and quiet, for a long time.I really wanted to like this. The actor that plays Pharm is really good! The characters are very likeable. The whole atmosphere is very wholesome. It's just really dragged out, and it's been too difficult for me to watch it because of that.
I wish they did more with the reincarnation theme. You know, there's a lot of space for creativity with that theme! But it was just a bit bland, how they decided to do it.

Soooo heartbreaking and emotional
Omw this series is sooooooo fireball good. This director is good . This series had me literally emotional. The way they incorporated the first guys stories with the different flashback. Literally had me crying. I was cussing also. Why can't some parents mind their business and let their kids love who they want. That starting when they committed suicide I was so angry at their parents. On episode 2 right now and it's still playing with my emotions. Can't wait to see how this will play out with the family, the couples and everything. Another thing what I enjoyed was the female cast she had me screaming. Her head ain't good at all. No, the main roles are completely different level. Both the main couple boys sadly cannot measure up to the "flashback couple" we see right in the beginning of the series. The two end up tragically in a blatant stupid scene, when they shoot their brains out while both their fathers are only helplessly watching, but then the unexplicably good cast (one of fathers is portrayed by Nirut Sirijanya! where did Wabi Sabi get Nirut Sirijanya?) is gone and for the rest of the series we are supposed to watch someone... well, else. The only big role for a female is a loud, chubby and annoying girl, to remind us we are to firmly concentrate on boys, here. Mean Phiravich is in insignificant, small side-role. Considering that is how they used the most attractive guy they had on the whole cast... Most viewers praised the second couple. Shall they save this?
So far, I keep watching to give this a chance. There are still scenes with the "old couple", which I skip by now, though. I can watch either one version or the other. And if I am to give chance to the "new couple", I have to quit watching the old one. And I honestly want to see how much there is to this couple if we don't count the past life destiny thing.
Also, there should be the 'WinTeam' couple to watch, and I am all for it, if they should be free of any "reincarnated lovers" cr*p. But, as the secondary couple, they have less screentime: so I'll have to wait for it...
Episode 4, Mean Phiravich's character expresses his interest in one of the boys. Whoops! Tricky. I'm sure I am now not alone who'd just ride on this wave and watch another 'Love By Chance 2' here. Who cares about the other boy, now? He can't beat Mean Phiravich.
Epi 6: Scenes with the previous life couple KEEP coming. Why?? The cast is SO much better. It's more interesting because they live in late 80's when being gay is not so much in fashion. But, as their scenes are only random flashbacks, this show's creators did not have to do the whole "period" drama properly. Instead, these scenes help the contemporary lame duo - threatened by the presence of Mean Phiravich - to have at least some chemistry, thanks to the audience already knowing their tragic love past story and therefore feeling for the characters even before they earned it. See, on both accounts, this show's creators made their job easier for themselves. So, my guess is we'll watch this half-and-half for the rest of the series...
Also this episode, for the first time I noticed WinTeam interacting a bit. There is also Plan Rathavit in his little guest role and it's SO cute you wish to keep him & the main cast to p**s off:) But they stay there, virtually haunted by the CONSTANT flashbacks. I smirked thinking whether people would be able to actually live their normal life, if everyone was able to remember their past lives so readily.
Epi 7, the boys said to each other that they remember one another from the past life and that they found each other now. The way I see it, it could be the end of this story... I feel no need to weep about it for 10 more episodes. Perhaps next role of Mean Phiravich will finally be in something good?

Guys i don’t even know if I have the right to create a review but I’m doing it anyways. I didn’t finish the show it could be because I found it a little boring and awkward. NOT THAT THE ACTING WAS BAD. because it wasn’t the acting was actually really good but I was way more interesting in the original couple then the (now) couple not sure why. Another reason why I probably dropped it was because at the time school was rough but that’s besides the point. The storyline was good and acting was nice the music was good.
