The music especially that song by the first kid 'raise your glass 'is still in my mind .other than I don't think the music was memorable.
The research value may be not anytime soon but why not huh min ki will always be my role model
I applaud all who watched this show and kindly request that the rest of you watch it.#noregrets

Michelle Corleone takes over TL.
Never have I given a drama anything less than an 8. This does not deserve even a 4.One big bad company (Mafia TL) ruins people's life in the form of intentional/accidental industrial accidents. Protagonist and side-kick investigate with/without inside help.
Could have forgiven this time-tested story had they remained true. But no.. they had to make the side-kick a comic relief and serious at the same time which terribly backfires. A lot of seriously dysfunctional relationships with everyone being either a bad person or a moron.
Finally the Michael Corleone female version takes over the Mafia company from her dad and things .. uh.. go on I guess? Highly idiotic drama despite the cases themselves based on real life accidents.
Watch only if you have time to kill.

I really hope this shed light on those cases, or any work related crime... it was incredibly heartbreaking for me to see this... and most of the victims were kids or people in their 20s and seeing their parents fight for justice just so their child's death isn't ruled as their own "fault" is too heartbreaking...
now on a drama's point of view, it was wrapped up in a good balance of "solving" the crimes while also leaving a small hint of "everything can't be solved so easily"...
and this was my fault for not focusing when and how it happened, but I appreciate the change in the typical typecastness of the "evil" ones..
my rewatch values are a 1 or 10, but for some reason I'd want to give another shot, though I feel like it'd be too heartbreaking...

I just watched the whole of this drama and I must say it is way better than this year's dramas from my point of view. Firstly, the casting is good. When I first saw the poster, I told myself ''I will watch later'', but when I had no drama to watch, I gave it a try. Actually, I have never watched works of the lead actress, Park Jin Hee. I had been knowing Lee Ki Woo from various dramas. I started because of him. The acting was pretty enough. I can't say it was so good cuz we did not have this kind of scene where the actors can show their talent. Yes, there have been some scenes which portrayed happiness and sad. But, like in the drama, it was teamwork. So I must have focused on everyone. The other actors were good too. Cameos did a great job.
The storyline is good, but at first, it feels like they are rushing for conclusion parts, but with the real-life cases, it did great. I even thought ''Who can make a drama about job accidents?''. Koreans are good at creating themes.
My point out of 10 is 9.5.
I recommend it!
SPOILER
The final was not so good for me, some parts looked as it is rushed as I said and I was looking for Joong Hoon and Tae Young's relationship. I wanted that they became partners again, but I am glad that Min Ki didn't end up with Joong Eun.

Touching and heartbreaking stories ruined by business power struggle plotline.
Doctor Detective touches on the sensitive and controversial topic of industrial corruption and the focus of profit with disregard to the health and life of others. Sadly, it adds other plot lines, mixing the stories of everyday people with conflicts arising among the elites.Honestly, with the heartbreaking cases of industrial accidents, negligence from the companies and the fight for justice done by UDC, why would anyone care about the power struggle of the higher-ups in the TL and the business politics? The TL side of the story should have been nothing more, nothing less than a background story of industrial corruption, without getting too into details about the specifics.
The cases that UDC deals with are based on real life events. At the end of the episodes we get epilogues that allow us to see the truth behind them - with footage, photos and interviews of the victims. Truly touching and sad stories, showing how much work still has to be put into bettering the laws.
The UDC team is quite perfect. We have the members who are driven and bring the spirits up, ones that use their wits and brain to solve problems, some that bring bits of happiness and jokes. Each and every one of them is unique in their own way, but together they make a perfect team.
On the other side, we have everyone related to TL and their fight for the attention of the CEO and future power over the company. And that's where the problem of the drama lies. There was nothing new, interesting, exciting about that plot line.
The acting was definitely amazing. Especially liked the high quality of skills from the supporting cast. The sadness, frustration, anger, fear... all these emotions that the victims felt had to be well presented, for the show to work out.
Overall, I would suggest watching the show while completely skipping TL scenes. The cases taken by UDC were interesting and knowing they were based on true events, adds to the value of presenting them.
