Trigger warning: full-on incest and sexual abuse, drug use, violence, prositution, self harm.
If these are things you are not comfortable with, do not watch it.

If you liked the first season for being cute and funny, then you might gonna be in for a surprise this season, because the tone shifts quite a lot and not towards comedy. The main characters are still cute, the acting is still so-so, but not terrible, the show is a lot more streamlined than in the first season being only 8 episodes long and kudos for tying up the storylines for most characters well, but boy does it go to some dark places! From the whole season what stood out was the incest storyline. It was quite a shock. I really did not expect it from this show. I am used to "fake" incest in asian dramas, where adopted siblings fall in love, but this is not that. They really went in and explored some very real subjects from siblings who are did not grow up together, and find each other later in life being attracted to each other, to extreme violence and self-harm.

It was different from what I expected based on the first season, but overall I still liked this season, even though I feel like the quality of writing and directing was lower, which is shame because the storylines had a lot of potential and were still interesting and most of the times engaging.

I do not want to spoil the ending, but let´s just say this is one of those series that where you look back at the first season after completing the second and start wondering, did they have this ending in mind all along...

The title says it all. After I watch the ending, I legit just scream "WHAT THE FUCK?!". The season 1 is meh and here i thought the second season will make it up for all the lack in 1st season but boy am i wrong. The season 2 is much more worse. The ending is... very disappointing. I don't understand why Oat chose to become a monk to let Pop pursue his career as steward. Like dude, you could just let him be steward and support him. You guys can go see each other once he is back to Bangkok. I really don't understand like ??????? The ending for this pairing got me questioning this series with a lot of question mark.

For the side pairing ( Pree & Rambo ) is damn disappointing. This Pree.. god.. he keep on insisting he couldn't get back with Rambo even when he is begging Pree. Like come on! This isn't how it suppose to happen! Plus, to be fair, Pree didn't take a good care of Rambo so maybe that's why he got into this wild sex slash gang bang slash idk lmao.

Conclusion, I don't even want to watch it for the second time because it's a waste of time.

I started watching the first season last night and it kinda got interesting so, I continued to watch the second season also and just finished it.
First of all, it was a real idea of introducing new characters in the second season. Their story was kinda messed up but I liked it though. The idea of {SPOILER} Oat becoming a monk at the end was not at all acceptable. It just didn't make sense to me whatsoever. I mean considering the events that happened prior to him going to do so, all of them could have been fixed. There have been other BL's in which much worse has happened but the storyline is molted in a way that the end is always amazing {some cases only}. WHAT HAPPENED to the relationship between Pree and Rambo. The writers left everything hanging even after the second season.
{BIG SPOLIER } In the end nobody is left as a happy couple. Oat became monk, Pop went and became a flight attendant, Pree, and Rambo probably went to no one's land hahaha. Nick and Mo's storyline was kinda interesting but they didn't focus on their part a lot. Even at the end, Mo was thinking about Pop -___- THE NEW COUPLE Mai and Ton kinda came onto me. I liked the "ROUGH" Love they had but they {BIG SPOILER} made it worse when in the end they came to know that they were the abandoned orphaned brothers. I liked the kissing and "OTHER" scenes but I won't say I'm going to watch again provided they're not "THOSE" scenes hahaha.
There were some points when I got really exasperated by the inane relentlessness of the characters but .........
I don't know what to say.

I would have to admit that the sensual scenes were actually really good.

I don't want to give away too much, and I am going to try to not have spoilers here, so I will try to keep things as generic as possible. You may want to skip the last paragraph though if you haven't watched the series, although I don't think it gives away too much.

The acting was great. I can't fault it, or much else about the music, casting, or overall production. Part two was worth watching to see more of the characters and actors, but it wasn't as satisfying as the first one. I think it needs a part 3, but closer to the tone or plot of the first series.

The story was not as good as the first part as far as I am concerned. It seems like they had planned to do a longer season, but for some reason cut it short? It sure went in a dark direction a few times, I don't know why they had to go that way. There would have been different ways to accomplish the same thing. What was the point of the drugs? And the sexual assault stuff can't be permissible in Thailand any more than it would be in the USA? It is hard to believe that they intentionally wrote this second series as shown from the plot of the first series. Like someone else commented, it is like a whole new set of writers and a whole new storyline. Maybe it is poor editing decisions that got us here?

I liked the new couple that they introduced (both cute!), but they didn't even begin to tell that story. Wow, they could have done a whole series on that mess! I would have rather seen more of the main cast, and left out this side story, if it meant closing some of the loose ends of the main couples. I also would have rather seen more of the side characters from the first series and closed some of those loose ends. What about Beauty and that gang? Did that all blow over somehow? What about Man and that girl he was chasing?

As far as the ending, all I have to say is What the Duck was that? I kept thinking that Oat or Pop (or both) would back out at the last minute. What about the new couple? What did they have to say to each other? That would sure be an awkward conversation. What about Pree and Rambo and Pent? That whole story line seemed to just disappear. What about Rambo's forced marriage? What was the point of Pree and Rambo in either series, looking back it almost looks like the marriage plot was filler material.

So Just an additional warning, this will contain some spoilers

I already wrote a review on season 1, What The Duck. As mentioned in that review, most of my anger/ hatred is directed towards the ending of season 2, What The Duck Final Call. Let me just sum up all moral of the story... Just keep swimming and if you love something, set it free. I'm still waiting for the last part the quote, If it really loves you, it will find it's way back.

I honestly loved all of the actors and I want to see them all again but there are several issues I have with this series. Firstly there was a random couple thrown into this season that honestly, I would not mind seeing a story about them, just please don't have the same ending as Oat and Pop. Secondly there was less episodes than the first season and so it felt a little rushed. Lastly, the ending... It was super upsetting for me.

The whole reason I watch BL stories is because it is something I can relate to and enjoy happy endings but Oat and Pop ended whatever they had by leaving each other and the main message from the writers was essentially to just keep swimming. A lesson I already learned from Finding Nemo when I was a child. Oat became a monk in the orphanage he grew up in and Pop became a flight attendant like he originally wanted to be. They made the scenes so emotional that I low-key wish it had actually affected me but the whole time I was watching the ending scene, all I can think about was; Pop, you know where to find Oat, he is not leaving anywhere. Plus the most they did was kiss, they never established that they were boyfriends and they never had sex with each other. Look at all the other flight attendants like Mo and Pree. They are flight attendants and they both were connected to Pop, they kept flying away for the job and still came back to Pop who was still in Thailand. And if the writers wanted to, Oat can come out of his celibacy and have sex with Pop and get a new job. He's done it before. Honesty the whole ending was rushed, upsetting, and unnecessary.

No Story line for Season 2

I feel they should have ended the series in season 1 itself. Season 2 wasn't necessary. The story of the 2 orphan boys was unnecessary. It doesn't connect to the main stroy except ' orphans'.
Also, there are more flashbacks than running story.
I thought the story would move forward to '10 years later' and Oat and Pop dig up that box and they become real lover's (I guess that's another season).
The ceremony of Oat becoming a Monk and Pop and Oat praying to Oat's mother were beautiful.

The synopsis depicts the first season, not this thing

Okay, second season... We have the two main guys... I don't even care about them that much, actually. But they seem happy together. Goody. Then we have some secondary guys... Whose "sex and stupid behavior" I care even less about, lol. Is this 8 episodes only? Goody.

Oh! Now I know what's missing. The 'Lazy Subber' commentary. I know. They would definitely comment: "Is he crying AGAIN?" LOL. We have also some new guys. Watching them is maybe less tedious than the old ones... We have the girl who played the "unsuspecting girlfriend" of one of the "I'm not gay!" boys, and didn't get to finish her aspiring romance with the nice, handsome pilot. Shall she have her happy ending now?

I was more or less bored in episode 2 already... The main characters show so far no progress. Also, the previous creepy side-character seems to be main character, now... The background music seems completely random and not very fitting the scenes. I guess they just used whatever was at hand:) This "series" felt half-amateurish in the first season already, now it looks they've really given up on keeping appearances.

"Episode" 3... Okay this is unwatchable. I wouldn't call it a "series" at all and I can understand now why even 'Lazy Subber' renounced this and it got only subtitled by a site that specializes on subbing gay bed scenes (usually they don't bother to sub any episode in full).

The synopsis for this season is actually identical copy + paste of the season 1 synopsis. But maybe it's yet another sign. Better repeat watching the first season, than to watch this thing.

Terrible

I have not say much .very terrible .sex scne can't aattracted the audiance at all. Need to quality story line. Unfortunately this story not satiafied. Whats the duck 1 series bit ok than season 2 . All character lack of acting .expression is 0 .the main character relationship doesnt end here as they hint at the time frame. But i don't think if realease another season will come out so it it uncomplete . the couple could have been so much more. it just feels so waste our time. if i could i would give it half of a star instead of a full one.
