So Just an additional warning, this will contain some spoilers

I already wrote a review on season 1, What The Duck. As mentioned in that review, most of my anger/ hatred is directed towards the ending of season 2, What The Duck Final Call. Let me just sum up all moral of the story... Just keep swimming and if you love something, set it free. I'm still waiting for the last part the quote, If it really loves you, it will find it's way back.

I honestly loved all of the actors and I want to see them all again but there are several issues I have with this series. Firstly there was a random couple thrown into this season that honestly, I would not mind seeing a story about them, just please don't have the same ending as Oat and Pop. Secondly there was less episodes than the first season and so it felt a little rushed. Lastly, the ending... It was super upsetting for me.

The whole reason I watch BL stories is because it is something I can relate to and enjoy happy endings but Oat and Pop ended whatever they had by leaving each other and the main message from the writers was essentially to just keep swimming. A lesson I already learned from Finding Nemo when I was a child. Oat became a monk in the orphanage he grew up in and Pop became a flight attendant like he originally wanted to be. They made the scenes so emotional that I low-key wish it had actually affected me but the whole time I was watching the ending scene, all I can think about was; Pop, you know where to find Oat, he is not leaving anywhere. Plus the most they did was kiss, they never established that they were boyfriends and they never had sex with each other. Look at all the other flight attendants like Mo and Pree. They are flight attendants and they both were connected to Pop, they kept flying away for the job and still came back to Pop who was still in Thailand. And if the writers wanted to, Oat can come out of his celibacy and have sex with Pop and get a new job. He's done it before. Honesty the whole ending was rushed, upsetting, and unnecessary.

What the Duck is a really cute show and I really do like the actors in this show but how they ended season one got me a little mad. It left me wanting more and the whole reason I started watching BL stories is to live through these stories. What the Duck shares a lot of similarities with Together With Me. Some key differences is that Pop and Oat don't actually have sex with each other. Honestly though, most of my hatred for this show stems from Season 2 but I still love all of the actors in the show and wish to see more of them on future BL shows.

This was the first BL story I ever watched and it was the first Thailand drama I have ever watched and this series is also the whole reason I started watching other BL Thailand dramas. Wayo and Phana have such a cute back and forth relationship but for me, the couple I was rooting for was Ming and Kit. This whole series was light, cute, and just a fun easy going drama to watch. Plus God, the actor for Phana and Kim, the actor for Ming are pretty cute.

Sadly I need to write 200 characters so... Hi
