It's about a girl who loves the radio.
A guy who we might expect to be cold/tough on the inside.. turns out to like the girl and wishes to protect her.
The guy starts to work at the radio and their romance/love begins.

Both have dramatic twists and turns.. but the couple is cute.

The dynamics of the main couple in both shows reminded me of the other: famous guy with a cold exterior who actually really likes the FL the whole time but struggles to express it properly at first. Both dramas also deal with the world of idols/celebrities & the challenges it brings.

The people recovering a traumatic events.

Radio Romance tell about serious childhood trauma involving a friends, details that, added to a constant emotional abandonment by his family and the pressure of fame, culminated in a diagnosis of depression for him. This depression will have an even more effective daily treatment when he joins the radio crew, even if he was reluctant at first.

Just Between Lovers begins by telling the story of a disaster involving the collapse of a mall that will unite the fate of three young people. Then they is going to grow up in drama trying to passed your bad moments in the past

- leads in two dramas reconnect a few years later
- the male leads seems distant and cold at first but soon they opened up towards the female leads

The stories are very different but the main focus of both dramas is the romance between the leads.

In both the leads knew each other for a long time and reconnect some time later. Both dramas start with them seeing each other for the first time after a long time. In both they have to secretly date because of some opposition. They are both full of cute moments between the leads and both couples can be playful with each other.

Really cute romances overall.

Both are romances in which the ML has feelings for the FL from the start but initially hides them due to his childhood trauma/inability to open up to people. Both MLs seem quite cold and distant but once they open up to the FL they are adorable to watch

The plot is def not the same but the leads resemble eachother in a way like how the male leads both had childhood crushes and now they are grown up to find their lovers again. They are both rich and its also an enemies to lovers trope in both although " She was pretty " had more of the enemies to lovers i feel like. I didnt really like both but if you did liked " Radio Romance" maybe you could like this one . Just my opinion.

Both have a rich male celebrity meeting the relatively poorer FL again after many years. In Radio Romance the ML is in entertainment business where as the other the Ml is a famours designer.

While "Live on" is about High School Students, they have some similiar Themes:
- Love Story between somebody famous and somebody making a Radio Show
- the famous Character also starts working at the Radio - reluctantly
- the MCs have very different personalities
- MC that starts out somewhat rude and unlikeable, but start to open up

Both feature male leads with power that have already reached success. They are both the typical cold rich man that appears in so many dramas, but they are unusual in that they fall in love fast and hard. Both are demonstrative and clear about their love. The female leads are still struggling, and both dramas show their workplace battles in order to achieve their own goals and the respect of others. The female leads are the likeable, kind, gentle kind -- though Song Geu Rim in Radio Romance is probably more admirable in her strength and maturity. Radio Romance and Boss & Me are light dramas that spend a lot of time developing the romance between the leads :^)

Both are the projects of the younger generation of actresses, Kim Yoo Jung and Kim So Hyun. Aside from the typical wealthy/powerful male lead poorer female lead setup that is so common it hardly counts as a similarity, one thing I appreciated in both, and that I hope will become more common in dramas, is that the characters simply trust each other. There are no major misunderstandings just to bring out the angst, and not too much noble idiocy. It's nice to watch a communicative and trusting couple, that surprised me every time by not falling into the common traps k-dramas lay.

For those that like heroes that are head over heels in love, so much so that they can't hide their vulnerability ;^)

The female leads have nothing to do though: Do Bong Soon in SWDBS is almost petty (in a cute way), while Geu Rim in RR is well-rounded.

Top star and ordinary girl romance, where the sensible and sensitive girl "heals" the seemingly cold guy.

If you like love stories with those uber famous hallyu super stars, the show-biz world in which they take place, and the complications they entail (reactions of fans, making the relationship public etc etc etc)!
