Both involve a guy and a girl exchanging bodies and experiencing character growth as a result.

The plots are not very similar but both are very light hearted. They both have a cute and funny female lead and arrogant male lead.

Both feature a modern day writer FL, time travel, historical ML, and a palace setting for part or most of the plot.

Both stories are about a body swap.
The main female lead, in the beginning, is interested in another guy.
I think Secret Garden is way more funny and interesting. It also has a more concise plot and clear ending. Its heartwarming with an unexpected plot twist.

Da Xi is a good cook who dreams of finding herself the most handsome husband. When meeting Royal Guard Shao Yong, it was love at first sight. Needing to stay near him, she enters the palace as a maid. She soon realizes that she's been fooled and needs a quick escape. While scaling a wall, she encounters Emperor Ji Man, who thinks she's an assassin whom he must stop. Something magical takes place: their souls swap. Now she is the Emperor, and he is the fleeing maid.

Both involve a commoner and a royal of opposite genders switching bodies and then being forced to navigate each other's lives, bickering and trying to swap back.

Very different in tone and setting, but both feature delicious looking food/cooking and an enjoyable though seemingly mismatched romance between the leads.

Both FLs are talented but poor palace chefs, the MLs are crown princes or emperors, and the two slowly fall in love despite their differences. Both dramas have a palace setting.
