Story
The whole thing with his dad is understandably kinda gross. I didn't really like it to be honest. I also didn't like the once again romanticizing r@pe scene. I also didn't enjoy that one of the first lesbian characters ends up with no girlfriend. Otherwise I think that the plot is good. I like the little friendship misunderstanding thing that whole going on throughout the group and that they talked it out later.

Acting/Cast
To be honest again I really think there is more chemistry between New and Tay rather than with Earth. I think that Earth was also a little awkward. Don't get me wrong he is an amazing actor but he was a little awkward in some of the scenes.

Music
I love the OST and the fact that Victor sings it. It is the finest wine on the shelf.

Overall
I really recommend watching it!!! Other than a few personal thoughts about it it is fantastic.

Too long series for me. I was a bit bothered by the fact that six actors played the main roles and the constant switching of stories. The viewer watches one story, gets along with the characters, and then spends twenty minutes staring at another. And that sexual vulnerability was taken to the extreme and therefore less interesting for me, out of line. If it weren't for Earth (and several other actors) in the current series 1000 Stars, I probably wouldn't even watch it, because Waii - the character that Earth plays - crawled up my neck. Overall, I took three to five points from perfection in the individual criteria...


Na mě až moc zdlouhavý seriál. Trochu mi vadilo, že hlavní role hrálo šest herců a to neustálé střídání příběhů. Divák se dívá na jeden příběh, sžije se s postavami, aby potom dvacet minut čučel na jiné. A ta sexuální nevyhraněnost byla dovedena až do extrému a pro mě tím pádem méně zajímavé, mimo mísu. Nebýt Eartha (a i několika dalších herců) v nynějším seriálu 1000 Stars, tak bych se snad ani nedodíval, neboť Waii - postava, kterou Earth hraje, mi lezla krkem. Celkově jsem tedy ubral v jednotlivých kritériích od dokonalosti tři až pět bodů ...

Everything about the show was great but there was not many scenes of the main characters we all came for (waii and apo), it was so full of everyone else and the scenes between the MCs were limited. The ending was stupid, the whole show, 1 freaking kiss scene between waii and apo! Its not just that, some of the ending ''plot twists'' (literal air quotes( were not necessary. The show was nice but the ending wasn't good enough, the ending is happy but its annoying, if you watch it you'll know. the show is good but not amazing, cast is 10/10 but still some things that need to be said didn't happen so yeah, still annoyed thats why i'm writing this review, its the only was i can vent my frustration. i feel like the ending was just so dead. i still recommend you watch it!

Waterboyy series is another BL Thai Series. For me, it is just okay series, nothing special just another GMMtv creation.

Storyline: The 4 couple in this short series (14 ep) is too much, I can't focus in any of couple because it's rather short and forgettable. And some of the big story plots aren't quite well delivered. Some of the progresson is rushed. The one I like is some secret that makes me curious.

Casting: All main character is well portrayed, some of the extras are bad.

Acting: The veteran Actors (Victor, Fon) are excellent in portraying their character, Earth is a bit weird, New, Piglet, and White are quite good.

Music: The music is okay, the actors sing the OST (Victor and Piglet), not great just okay, the BGM also okay.

Rewatch Value: one time is enough, if you can focus on all couples you should rewatch this series.

Verdict: I give Waterboyy the series 7.0/10, I would give it higher if only the writer makes less mistake.

There are a lot of people complaining about how boring this series is, but i find joy in this instead. I’m tired of dramatic shows and movies, so if you’re up for some slow romance and developments, and for some real nice friendships, go watch this! Many people say that the downside of the series is the lack of screentime for the main characters which are Waii and Apo and honestly it’s true. However, I actually like how the other characters get enough screentime and they have their own interesting backstories. I don’t find myself bored while watching this at all. They have great chemistry, and their acting is pretty good, too. Overall, thumbs up for this series! They give great lessons, too.

I started to watch this series because of Newwie but... I was not interested in any of the ships aside from Waii and Apo, and Kluay and Achi who were at times, cute. Fay was a great character and she's a good actress, every scene in which she was crying, it felt real. I think the other ships were kinda forced, I skipped everything that had to do with Min and Wan because I didn't understand what the point was. The plot with the coach was weird, and Pan and Fah were just not it for me nor that other girl. I love Toptap, but I was not into his character or the coach Tee, it felt unnatural and forced which I get but still. It was an okay series, I honestly love the fact that Newwie and Tay went on to finish with their series because I liked them more.

This drama was enjoyable, and of course when watching the notes at the end were very uplifting.

The storyline and production were good. Apo and waii were good together, although there were parts i due feel confused, like when he trying to figure his feelings, but the girlfriend used guilt to keep him. They both needed to trust each other.

Many things happen with the other characters that were on point as well and well played out.

Although i did feel that apo and waii story was sort of rushed and strange, just when they fall into on romance he goes and leaves and story fast forward to a year later.

To be honest, the story plotline was everywhere. Like, my gay self couldn't even track it and I have seen American LGBT dramas. It originally started with the idea to save the swimming club and characters were added out of nowhere. They would forget the main story point and come back to it when it was helpful to. However, the side characters and their stories were great. Each character, you will rout for and there are secrets that I am not going to tell you about, but oh man!
Some parts will make you uncomfortable, like the age gap between some of these people. I was a little disturbed there and really wanted to stop watching the show in those moments. Also, there is forced sexual content (not explicit). I was a little disturbed by how fast Apo recovered from almost being raped by Waii. I do understand how they were still able to become good friends. Waii is a very emotionally unstable character due to the fact that his father is an oblivious, neglectful son of a -----. Waii doesn't know what to do with his feelings and loses control. He distances himself from Apo because he doesn't want to hurt him anymore. Apo understands that he is truly feeling guilty and forgives him.
The casting choice was very well done and I applaud them for it. The personalities of all the people in this show are amazing. This show isn't really about sports, but more about the relationships within the team.

Apesar de ser uma série já um pouco antiga, eu só assisti recentemente, e não me arrependo. A história é um pouco clichê: um romance universitário no estilo "enemies to love". Não sei se foi o primeiro, mas com certeza foi um dos primeiros trabalhos do Earth Pirapat ( inclusive eu acho que hoje ele está muito mais bonito do que há seis anos atrás ). Tem alguns "buracos" no roteiro e na direção, mas eu realmente gostei bastante das reviravoltas que acontecem, demonstrando de formas diferentes que o amor não tem idade e nem gênero. O New Tithipoom (sempre fofo) também está uma gracinha nesta história, sempre fazendo papel de moço com bom caráter, fora ouros belos atores que fazemparte do elenco.. Recomendo se você gosta do gênero, e recomendo que você assista também o clip musical com o tema da série ( disponével no YouTube ).

When you had watched several thai series, you will not find whose most charming actors and actresses, its the storyline that will be wow factor after all.. Beautiful faces does not fascinate you at all. Well, honestly, it's a plus point, but if your story is inferior, you will not be able to take it.

First episode, just a few minutes, I said, "What is that, how come a girl be in a swimming team who is purely male? I think that's the story all about. I killed my laptop and suddenly after few more minutes of reading reviews, i nodded and got back To watching the series.

This may be your series that makes me tired of watching. each character has a side story. It has been sewing so much. But I think it's part of the storyline, telling the viewers that everyone's part of every person. A man can not stand on his own without the help of other person. Perhaps it is also a moral of the series.

In the Philippines, 'suicide is not the case because of many gossipers, so even a neighbor's brother, knows. In Thailand, 'not so. If you're not interested, you will not notice. They have their own life. When you do not come close, you have no friends. But this series tells a different perspective, unity. I'm wrong to say that they have their own lives because the Thai ones, at first it was silent, at first unobtrusive. But when they know you better, whether you like it or not, you'll be someone's friend. Your gestures are just like your eyebrows, just keep quiet, they know that something is wrong or something else. Make them friends, friendship, deeper, just like water. If they are not, they will not be too busy if there is no solid evidence.

"It does not matter where other people might be happy for yoy. What's important is what makes you happy."

It ended up well and I feel Season 2 is just like other series. Speechless but many are said. Kudos!
