This is a very dark drama with some major mature themes, but a rollercoaster that is well worth the watch. I started this drama thinking I was watching a romance show and thankfully it was much, much more. The story is about two sisters, two pair of sisters to be exact: the parent generation and later the kids. The kids generation were all quite a young casting and I was blown away by the acting prowess of Benz, the girl who played Saiparn. Saiparn and Nida are two sisters from the same father but different mothers. The problem lies in the fact that their mothers were both blood sisters, yes, both sisters had the same husband (high ew factor). The father essentially rapes the younger sister (Nida's mother) and this results in the birth of Nida and the death of Saiparns mother on the same day.
This sets the story up for the rest of the show as Saiparn hates the living daylights out of her aunt and half-sister as she believes, and partly rightly so, that they are the cause of her mothers death. Only partly because the full blame actually lies with their father (a disgusting piece of trash) who abused Saiparn and lavished Nida with everything her whole life as he thinks that Saiparn is the product of an adulterous affair her mother had, and is not his child.
Characters:
SAIPARN- Very human female lead who is flawed, but is so perfect because of all her baggage and flaws. Saiparn was abused by her father who hated her, and eventually became an abuser to her own sister as well. She gets raped by Poodit, who is Rida's fiance (due to a scheme she set-up which made Poodit question Rida's love for him and Saiparn humiliates him which leads him to rape her in retaliation---I kid you not, he was apparently the male lead, but more on him later). The rape was the cliff that eventually pushed her over the edge and the trauma from that opened up her self-protective shell which she insulated herself with to push everyone away with previously. She was able to finally see her aunt (whom she blamed for her mothers death) as a good person and put the hatred she always had to rest. She survived hardships and overcame them and I really admire her for it. This is the complete opposite of Nida, who had no hardships until her fiance was taken away from her and the first struggle in her entire life basically unraveled her bubble she had lived in and led to her insanity.
NIDA- Nida had all the love in the world, her father basically gave her her every whim and lavished love and affection on her, to the point where he would deliberately take things that Saiparn dearly loved, even mementoes of her mother, and gave them to Nida. She was the most selfish person in this whole show, who was basically the product of coddling and protection from everyone in this drama. When her mother tried to curb her psychotic tendencies in an early episode, the father intervenes and slaps the mother, yet again feeding the selfish monster and setting her up for doom later on. I felt so satisfied when the father gets knocked out in the later part of the show by the very monster he created, it was sweet poetic justice. Acting wise I think she was weakest of the whole cast. She had this wide-eyed look throughout the show which I hated and later on in the show, her crazy act was so overbearing I generally skipped her scenes unless they involved Saiparn.
POODIT: Read PooSHIT. I hated him throughout the show. He is the type of wishy-washy hero you never want to see as the main lead. He apparently loved Nida, but raped her sister instead. Is forgiven by everyone, meanwhile Saiparn, the victim is made out to be the seducer and has to bear all the repercussions of his horrendous actions. He has a lot of inner battles as he still wants to marry Nida, but also wants to take care of Saiparn- because he is a gentleman (I choked everytime someone on the show mentioned how he was such a perfect model of a human being, YUCK). Only person who wasn't PooSHIT's fan was Saiparn and Nida's older brother, the one sane person in the whole show.
NAPAT: The angel. I seriously shipped him with Saiparn, but this idiot loved Rida too fishin' much (at this point you start to wonder if the main girl is Rida, since every male lead in this show LOVES her to bits, which is reminiscent of any kdrama love triangle). He was a doctor who basically took care of Saiparn after the rape, and later Rida when she goes into batshit crazy mode. I was hoping he falls for Saiparn while he is taking care of her, but alas it was not to be as Rida with her lead halo was too strong a contender.
Overall this was a really intriguing show and I stayed glued to the unfolding crazy drama, mainly for Saiparn as she was one of the most believable heroines I have come across recently in lakorns. She wasn't a goody-two-shoes, she acted mean, got even, and was a very tortured person. Yet, despite all this she learned her lessons and took the high road by the end of the drama.
I highly recommend this drama for anyone who is fed up of watching door-mat heroines, and someone who can stomach issues such as rape and abuse.

There were essentially 3 love stories:
1. Ohm (big bro) & Pim. Their onscreen chemistry was a surprise! Jealousy, longing, denial - we have it all with this couple! Ohm usually takes support roles that barely get screen time, but after this role I hope he can get meatier bits. Pim looks like a baby. Probably b/c she is (16 while filming). Their relationship was pretty straight forward. After all the twists and turns of the other two couples these two were actually my favorites even though they didn't get enough screen time with their awesome tension.
2. Mark & Benz (big sis who was a firestorm). Can't wait to see her future Lakorns! Her character was misunderstood, ashamed, shamed and just wanted love and of course went about it ALL kinds of wrong. Her relationship with Mark needed more fleshing out IMHO. It was good, but it could have been better. They had chemistry when the writers and directors allowed them the screen time for it. Their relationship was seriously messed up, and the writer did a great job of developing their characters and making us care about their development and resolution. Warning: there is a force scene.
3. Ball & Looktam (baby sis). Lots of long meaningful glances on his part while she was sweet, innocent and happy to be beside him. By the end, someone went bat sh*t crazy and honestly the writers didn't really make me care. In fact I was just annoyed with their behavior to the point where I did quite a bit of skipping through their later scenes (the last 4-5 episodes). I felt bad for Ball's character. He'd held onto this unrequited love for so long and our idiot girl...was...an idiot. They were a good looking couple though. Ball has charisma, I hope he also can get a meatier role in the future as well. (A character with a bit more bite to him.)
I felt like they left too much for the last episode and the 4 episodes prior to that they could have mostly cut out. Ahhh filler...still it was a good lakorn. If nothing else watch it for Benz scenes.

Yada Narilya is a stunning talent actress that conveyed the complex anti-heroine Saiparn so well she simply blew my mind away with her charismatic on-screen presence. This is one of the rare cases (in lakhorn) i found the male lead so lacking and unappealing. His character was so weak minded, selfish and wishy washy and STUPID. I wanted to cry when i reaized he was supposed to be male lead after a few episodes, i still had hope for him to have a great personality to match the female lead, alas i was sooooo disappointed. She looked much better with Napat. Male lead was so useless in this one.Aghhhh i am so mad about that cuz she deserved THE BEST!!
There are many more detailed reviews of this crazy, trainwrecky lakhorn so i won`t write much. It was entertaining despite the lacking romance (with a lacking ML) but our beautiful anti-heroine makes it all up with her redemption arc, her character developement. She is wonderful, and can never do wrong in my eyes.

Good drama
NAREE RISSAYAThis is my review on this Thai drama so far the big sister is quite unloved quite treated wrongly and abandoned the father just saw two people meeting his current wife and some man perhaps it could’ve been for a surprise for him one will never know but one things for sure she is wrongly treating. I think in my mind the father really wanted his’s wife sister otherwise he would’ve never done that to the sister he would’ve never raped her and then forced her to be his wife later on in life after his current wife died he wanted to torture his current wife for unwarranted suspicion and his own greed for his wife’s sister. Watching the Raptors drama I know I know where the younger sister gets her craziness from the fathers jesters hypertensive and crazy go through it’s just like his younger daughter and thinks it’s right myself to own everything treating me like crap and then act all innocent in the public eye. Look even when he found out his wife wasn’t having an affair he still was unfair to his oldest daughter. See now he’s getting what he rightfully deserves. I’m glad he’s in pain he should be. Noon should have told the things she knew as well she knew. Now the father has to live with the monster he himself created.
The older sister who is treated wrongly abused blamed for everything and abandoned everybody treated her wrong except for the aunt and the caretaker but the aunt knew the truth and she never told anyone what happened I think her being sent away was wrong I also think that her being raped by his supposed sisters fiancé was all him I think he fell in love with her but he was choosing the other sister because she was more proper in society innocent happy everybody wanted her everybody loved her only because they treated the older sister so wrongly and talked crap about her and made her feel unwanted and unloved so therefore nobody paid attention to her and you can tell by watching this drama that the younger sister even though it was wrong to take the older sister‘s mothers things her room anything value to the older sister she did it anyway and acted all innocent like oh well father‘s giving it to me so I might as well take it I don’t wanna offend my father he’ll give me anything in the world I want and I just have to act stupid and innocent which it was all the act you can tell by watching this she was also in love with the doctor the younger sister was but I’ll get to her in a second the only reason why she wanted her fiancé was because she didn’t want to lose her circle of things she can’t give it up I still say she ruined her sisters scarf on purpose even though she supposedly didn’t they wrote it in as she accidentally did but I think she really ruined it on purpose she would’ve taken it if it was finished she would’ve begged her dad or pushed him in someway to give her everything that she wanted the older sister was treated in the lord the stroma very wrong way and even when she wanted happiness and was going through her happy time they somehow took it away from her again took it away from her she was finally starting to relax finally starting to find a place in life and they took it from her again. The four older sister had to go through so much and you’re right the exion say is a dick any wishy-washy.
I rightly think that the doctor yes he was in love with the younger sister and he treated the older sister as a friend and yes I do think that the older sister did fall in love with him at one point and I thought that they would’ve been perfect together if they would’ve been left alone a little longer but the younger sister fiancé kept coming around watching getting more and more jealous leaving surprises everywhere for her and covering it up and Innoway taking responsibility he started to see a different side of her when she was sent away smiling happy excepting of life and he would secretly watch her knowing that she liked to embroider and work with string and knit just like her older brother and you I think he paid more attention to her than he did his own fiancé and I think he knew more about her and her activities than anyone because he was in love with her secretly and didn’t want to admit it men when they’re drunk if they don’t want the woman it will never happen he wanted her and he use the excuse of being drunk to rape her and he came and he ruined her time the older sister didn’t love him and didn’t really wanna be with him but was forced to just like the aunt was forced to live with her sisters husband at the time watching him torture Her sister With her presents all because he wanted to justify his own disgraceful act of violence and his own disgusting thoughts of having both the sisters and children with both of them and then miss treating the one daughter.
Younger sister annoying spoiled stupid acting like she doesn’t know what she’s doing when she really does whining and crying because she wants her things back she wants everything that supposed to be hers back and I believe that even if she would’ve got married to her ex fiancé she still wanna wanted the doctor around and it would cause problems in her life she went crazy because she couldn’t have her things and her father couldn’t control the world that was outside of her realm that things were happening because of her ex fiancé raping her stepsister when she herself as a product of rape and now she’s acting like the insecure little brat that she is and I think that everything that happened she could’ve showed her older sister a lot more moral support and stood up to her dad a lot more if she really cared about her older sister but she didn’t she continues to watch it with a stupid smile on her face or stupid dumb scared look on her face instead of stepping in and stopping it she let it happen over and over or her father abused her and she let it continue and she never once never once gave up the things her father gave to her and said no those are her things those belong to her mother they’re not mine she took them anyway if she would’ve stood up to her father she would’ve been able to deter some of it as well I’m glad she went crazy because everything that she wanted wasn’t happening that’s what happens when spoiled brats don’t get what they wanted and they’re coddled and they just take take take and then when somethings taken from them they go back shit crazy because they can’t get it back.
I don’t like the Brother‘s current girlfriend she is such trouble causing it everywhere I’ll because of Her selfish agenda that she has of wanting a rich husband and wanting control of everything and liking drama too much in the end again they get caught always Karma always finds them gets them back and she deserved everything that she got. She’s forgetting shit is a think she should’ve been punished more.
I’m glad for the ending I am glad for the family and I’m glad the baby girl survived good luck with this drama I thoroughly enjoyed it except for the crazy screaming half the time.

Thing is, this lakorn has absolutely beautiful end credits (mind you, not the opening credits) accompanied by totally dreamy song (soft and subtle, different from the usual songs most lakorns use). The end credits consist of a collage (not the totally-spoilery bits like seen in opening credits) from the lakorn scenes, or at least you'd expect that. I for one started watching this lakorn as so many other lakorns: not hooked at first, but waiting to see when they take me - through whichever story - to those scenes seen in the ending credits, the dreamy bits, the kiss, etc:)
But when it came to episode right before last, and the scenes were still not there (instead the whole thing was filled with a load of ballast I fast-forwarded through) I started to worry that the most of the ending credit scenes came from some kind of promotional video and not the actual lakorn itself. 'Cause they sure did not correlate much with the story.
When mentioning videos. You know how in each lakorn you have a couple people start shipping and they make a lot of music videos devoted to that couple? We don't seem to have that couple here. We have two sisters, one is played by actress completely average in looks and acting skills and for the other, we have the exact opposite. How much opposite? The fanmade videos answer this best: they're all practically shipping HER alone. As she's lacking enough chemistry and story with any guy there (not her fault) and she's NOT the one playing the insane sister, the MVs consist mainly of her scenes - no matter whom with - and her acting. I say it's most extraordinary: what a compliment for such a young actress! The recurring praises of her performance also form the majority of general comments for Nari Rissaya, on fan-forum. So if she got you interested you should definitely watch this lakorn.
But was it enough for me? Sadly not. I want the same as always: I want romance!! Surprise, surprise. Watching lakorn, I want romance, lots of romance, good romance. Usually I get loads of ballast to skip through - I'm used to that - but here I did not even get the stuff I was skipping TO:)) Not much, that is. I won't spoiler you. So did the last episode finally deliver?? Not telling:-p
