There was definitely enough going on to keep me interested, but 31 episodes was WAY too long. Some areas dragged and some areas could have used more attention, imo.
I don't remember the acting being horrible, but I don't remember it being that great either. I felt that the main characters had chemistry and I was pleasantly suprised to find out that they got married in real life after shooting this drama.
We all have had songs that we identify with certain dramas. I don't particulary have a song that stood out for me in this one nor do I remember any of the songs or score. Although, this may be because a year has passed.
Sadly, I will not be rewatching this drama. 31 episodes is a lot especially when there weren't too many memorable scenes.
My review would have been very different had I reviewed it right after watching. None the less, it'll hold a special place in my drama loving heart (hence the 7/10 overall rating).

Drama lovers if u watch this try to remember that the story keeps getting better even if the acting is not that great. It wasn't a complete waste of time & I like the actors/actresses in it just not together.

I've watched a couple other long(28-30 episode) dramas before without much trouble, but this one was more a test of patience. The plot crawled along at snail's pace, with situations, cliched as they were, happening over and over again; even the characters seemed to be bored of repeating themselves.
I couldn't sustain beyond halfway. It didn't seem to be worth the effort beyond that.

The message sent by this drama is really bothersome...
The father is a bigot . The show is full of cliche on westerners and racism. I really felt some racism and intolerance .
The way she threw away her western boyfriend because he was not korean was really disgusting. And in the end she accepted the life her parents decided for her.
I find it weird that Eugene accepted this role full of cliche about westerners knowing she grew up abroad.
Anyways this drama view is narrow. And i am a person who hates sectarianism and this show is all that.
Still the positive point is that the 2 leads got married IRL and have a child. In the show I didn't feel the chemistry but maybe it's because the show was poorly written.

This story is not at all original either it relies on a lot of typical Korean drama clichés.The acting and music are not memorable as well. The only thing that stopped me from dropping this drama completely was that there were just enough comedic moments scattered throughout the episodes to keep me watching.
Overall, Creating Destiny is a very mediocre story I wouldn't recommend you watch it unless you have 31 hours of free time.

I don't have anything against the cast. I think they did pretty well with their roles.

there was just too much of everything and the main stroy line seemed to drown in all the rest.

Regarding the storyline, it was average, and there wasn't much to say about it. I wish they had played the whole Austrailia/U.S thing up more, and also the other love interests as well. It felt like the other interests had about as big a chance a Gyu Han would have with Sang Eun.
There were a lot of misunderstandings, and while I know drama usually runs on those, this was ridiculous. People always seemed to forget to mention, you, the IMPORTANT parts for what they did, or they just wouldn't bother to explain, which really annoyed me.
Maybe this is just because it's not tradition over where I live, but the elders respect thig was foreign, and also it made me want to bash my head against a wall in annoyance at everybody.
To those saying it's too long, I'm somewhat inclined to agree, though I think the reason is was so long was because of all those side romances that annoyed me, and the misunderstandings that could have been cleared up with a single sentence. Like, really.
Regarding the side romances, I was enjoying Yoon Hee and Gyu Han's romance until I died at the end. I was rooting for him.
The Sae Won story was cute though it provided no tension at all, and I didn't like his end. Chul Ho and Hyo Eun had an adorable relationship though.
Regarding the acting, it was fair. I think it was Gyu Han's actor that seemed uber stiff though. It wasn't the best.
Music was ok. I can't figure out the name of the slow song that plays a lot, and I really like that one. It was mostly unnoticeable.
I wouldn't rewatch this drama simply because it's too long with top little progression. It could have been condensed to 25 episodes at the most I'm sure.
I'll finish it with this: I have never seen a drama with so many annoying characters--Yeo Joon's mother (the worst), Hye Rim, Hye Rim's mother... There are more.
But yeah. It wasn't that good, in my opinion.
