Lightweight and foregettable
Creating a TV show about producing a TV show has been done before - (the British "Moving Wallpaper", American "Action!" and "Unreal") but I hadn't seen a Korean take on this concept before (well, I have seen "Pinocchio", but that was centred around a news program so that doesn't count).Unfortunately, unlike those aforementioned programs, "The Producers" doesn't really send up or skewer the industry. So no laughs or interesting revelations to be had. Which would be fine if there was an interesting story - but it lacks a gripping storyline. Which would be OK if the characters were good - but I don't really care for any of them.
On the storyline, it centers around Seung Chan, who's landed a dream job at a TV station... and been assigned to the team behind a failing variety show. Will they be able to rescue the program before it gets cancelled??.....the real question is, will you care?
The one positive here, is the cast, who mostly do a pretty good job with the flimsy script. I HATED Soo Hyun Kim and his stony face and bland expressionless voice in "My Love From The Star" and (to a lesser extent) "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" but he actually does a pretty good job here playing the awkward and bumbling Seung Chan. IU does pretty good job as the stuck-up pop star Cindy, though she comes across as slight hesitant. Hyo Jin Gong plays the part of music show producer Ye Jin well, it's too bad the character is so annoying and unlikable you relish when bad things happen to her.
Look, it was decent enough for me to watch a few episodes, but I just don't care about the characters or story enough to finish it. It's not unpleasant to watch, but aren't there better things to do with your time than watch forgettable K-Dramas?

Cette critique peut contenir des spoilers
Even though the producers is a short drama (only twelve episodes!) and most of the story is occupied by the variety shows and the mentions of the celebrities that were currently the talk of the city, the rest of the drama was satisfying enough. The main story is the struggles of a rookie PD who works on a sinking variety show. Now, the romance was so-so, but, thankfully, it developed the way I wanted it to develop ( I can't describe it better as I'll give away too many spoilers). Anyway, the chemistry between the rookie PD and his senior wasn't that good in order for the drama to have a strong romantic vibe. But I did loved the female leads performance, even though the rookie PD was a little awkward and I would have liked for him to have done a better job if possible. IU was okay, but I haven't watched her yet on other dramas so I don't know if she can do better. Another thing that bothered me was the constant mentions on variety shows and celebs. I knew some of them, so I could keep up, but if someone didn't, I think it would have been awkward for him to watch this drama, though it wouldn't effect the main plot or made it difficult to keep up. But, all in all, I did enjoy the multiple stories that overlapped one another and the drama was entertaining enough to keep the interest high till the end. So, 6 out of 10. Cet avis était-il utile?

What a delightful drama
**Plot**
"The Producers" is a romantic comedy that revolves around the behind-the-scenes of a popular music program, "Music Bank". The story follows the lives of three producers, Baek Seung-ryong (Kim Soo Hyun), Cindy (IU), and Tak Yeon (Choi Daniel), as they navigate the challenges of producing a live music show.
**Characters**
* Kim Soo Hyun as Baek Seung-ryong: A talented but arrogant producer who has been working on "Music Bank" for years. He's confident in his abilities, but his ego often gets in the way of his relationships with others.
* IU as Cindy: A cheerful and optimistic producer who is new to the team. She's eager to learn and prove herself, but her innocence and naivety often lead to humorous misunderstandings.
* Choi Daniel as Tak Yeon: A cynical and sarcastic producer who is often at odds with Baek Seung-ryong. Despite his tough exterior, he has a soft spot for those around him.
**Romance**
The romance between Baek Seung-ryong and Cindy is a highlight of the drama. Their initial dislike for each other gradually turns into affection, and their banter-filled interactions are both adorable and cringe-worthy. The chemistry between Kim Soo Hyun and IU is undeniable, and their romance is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the show.
**Comedy**
The drama excels at humor, with plenty of witty one-liners, comedic misunderstandings, and hilarious situations. The cast's comedic timing is excellent, making even the most ridiculous moments entertaining.
**Music**
The drama features a range of catchy songs, from upbeat pop tracks to heartfelt ballads. The musical performances are energetic and well-choreographed, adding to the drama's overall charm.

Her acting was really good, and so was the main cast.
IU did really good too, and so did the others, but I'm a bit disappointed :( I saw the cast and thought " woah must be a good drama " but thats what it all was, good, not amazing or great, just ok, and if my internet went out I would watch it, but if I had a choice, id must likely just watch Jisoo's few liner parts... But its not total disaster the first two episodes pull you in, its you it went down heel from then out... They could've fixed it, but then they rushed the ending... :(
but if you do plan on watching it, don't let me get in your way, its what you think that matters most.

Watch it for IU's character
I watched this show because it had IU in it and unsurprisingly her character Cindy was the highlight. The best moments of character conflicts, acting, you name it, all came when they involved her. There was a quiet melancholy to her acting as though her character had accepted her fate in this world as someone unloved personally. IU really shone through in these more serious moments with a gentle yet undeniably sombre tone that spoke of a character who was never allowed to live a normal life. Seeing what happened to her character throughout and right up until the end wasn't easy to watch. The problem for the show is that this was really the only good thing about it. The other characters were simply not interesting enough. Kim Soo-Hyun is a terrific actor but there was something flat, gormless and unappealing about his character. He just wasn't interesting in the slightest. The show had a lot of promise but quickly petered out, and it's not memorable enough bar the moments that had IU in them.

First of all, Kim Soo Hyun upstaged all of them. He was the brightest actor among them all, his acting was matchless and the awards he got for this are damn well deserved. Yeah, the other leads were good, too (esp. since I really like Gong Hyo Jin), but not as much as him. Following KSH, IU was the second one I was really impressed with. I totally loved her character and IU acted her out pretty well.
I laughed off my butt through every episode. Seriously, Kim Soo Hyun's character was so loveable from the beginning to the end, esp. his drunken state (and his family! was great). The actors and their characters went very well together. They harmonized pretty nicely, you could feel it.
The unusual way of handling the camera, the scenes, editing, interviewing and everything else was refreshing and fit into it (well, this drama WAS all about 'producing'). It took on so many clichés and exaggerated them so hilariously, that it clearly made my day (well, many days, to be exact).
There were two things I was disappointed about. First, the romance part. It started nice, I was full of expectations, but the way it turned out left me quite unsatisfied. Why start something like that, develop it so nicely and then...? I don't want to spoil the outcome though, maybe I'm the only one who felt that way and others were satisfied with it. Idk.
The second one specifies the "2Days, 1Night" scenes. I would have loved to see more scenes from the show that was aired within the drama. They shot the scenes and talked about the editing and the airing, but showed too little exact scenes from it. Every time I got so damn curious and was left empty.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the drama and I did gave it a 9.0 rating because I laughed so hard so many times that I won't forget about it for a long time. It even got me to cry in full scale in one scene.
Rewatch value only 5.o because although it was good, I don't think I will watch it again, in reagrd to my 'plan to watch'-list. It didn't get to the point where I would rewatch it when there are so many other dramas prior.
Music was nice, nothing remarkable though.

Childhood friendship that blossoms into love, all the funny colleagues, funny moments, office outing etc, it's kinda remind me of my working days in the office. No cheesy romance, the romance is believable.
Overall, it's a good drama and vcan make your heart lighter.

Cindy was actually my favorite character because I really felt her emotion cutting across the screen (good job, IU!). I don't know why but there were times where Baek Seung Chan just got on my nerves, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE JUST THERE WAITING FOR HIM TO SAY SOMETHING. I tried to like Seung Chan but /ugh/ he is just irritating for me.
Don't get me wrong, there were definitely scenes that I liked and would watch over and over again but as for the drama as a whole, once is enough.
