Both shows are unconventional. However, I find this one to have a more compelling premise than "BF with Loan," and the absence of slavery is a significant advantage.

Both dramas include Lee Bang Won as one of the main characters. Thus, we know that the background story of both dramas is that they are both set in the early stages of Joseon Dynasty.
However, King of Tears Lee Bang Won has more focus on Lee Bang Won's rise to power while The Queen Who Crowns focuses more on the perspective of his Queen Minkyung and how she copes with being Queen (like dealing with her now unequal status with her husband to dealing with her jealousies to his concubines).

There are also a lot of fictional characters added in Six Flying Dragons that are not present in real life nor in The Queen Who Crowns. plus Six Flying Dragons has a lot of martial arts scenes as well.

Han Se Gye is a top actress, also known as a troublemaker, with many rumors around her. To others, her life appears as a mystery, when in fact she is faced with a strange occurrence where she must change into a different body and new identity for one week a month. She encounters Seo Do Jae, a brilliant man who is an executive at an airline company. He seems to have it all: a perfect appearance, knowledge, and a good job; but he has a secret too. He suffers from Prosopagnosia, the inability to recognize faces. However, he manages to hide this from the world, every day he makes an effort to remember people by their personalities. Seo Do Jae's life begins to change when he meets Han Se Gye. She is the only person whose face he can recognize. But with Han Se Gye's constant disappearance and change, how long can she keep her secret?

A traumatic childhood experience leaves Cha Do Hyeon, suffering from memory loss and dissociation. The latter has resulted in the creation of seven distinct personalities. Wanting to regain control over his life, he asks Oh Ri Jin, a first-year psychiatric resident, to help him, but she eventually falls in love with one of his personalities. Ri Jin’s twin brother, Oh Ri On, a famous mystery novelist, investigates Do Hyeon and his family.

Both feature a protagonist that is homeless who ends up moving in with the other protagonist to escape homelessness, and then beginning an unusual relationship with each other.

Both start off with a love interest literally found in the trash. Said love interest then moves in with the person who finds them. They also both feature protagonists who have or do sleep with people for housing.

These both have beautiful posters, toxic queer love, and great and creative cinematography. Only on episode 1 so far, but I couldn't help but think of this while watching.

They both have this theme of a girl group that wants to debut. Same FL in both shows. The chemistry between both leads in both shows is good. Slow burn.

-a stupid (but entertaining) reason makes the main character get to know the male lead. In one series the main character pretends to be his twin and has to break up with his twins boyfriend. In the other series the main character makes a bet with the the male lead that he can make him fall in love with him first, in exchange for him doing his project.
-a hidden agenda that is the same
-a male main character who has no interest in the other male lead at first but who changes their mind after having more romantic interaction that the male lead provide.

time looping for the main characters that need to resolve the issue/unravel the mystery. One minor issue with Reunion is - it does not resolve much but it gives us an ending where both parties will finally work together using the remaining lives left to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Perhaps in season 2?

Both are set in the same time period and talk about the difficulty of women's role in society. Especially concerning that the women in both stories are lesbian. Though in jeongnyeon it was censored.
