All the Emotion...

...of this show comes forward in this episode. Finally Miyabi sees that she can trust Onizuka, but now Onizuka is gone. It was an emotionally jarring episode from beginning to end.

I hope to see Kikuchi finally learn that he can trust Onizuka too. What will the introduction of this new Headmaster mean for the school, and how will Fuyutsuki handle class 2-4?

So Much...

...to say about this episode. First, I was on edge the whole episode, thinking that Urumi planted a bomb in Miyabi's house. I may not like Miyabi, but I was really worried. It was a great fakeout, as was Urumi's other fakeout as well.

The acting here was superb. Both Urumi and Miyabi were great. I've said this earlier, but Kawaguchi really captures Miyabi's character, in my opinion. She plays conniving and cunning quite well, but I was glad to also see vulnerability from her in this episode.

I think the biggest bombshell is the fact that Miyabi is involved in Nanako's death. I can't wait to see how this all plays out next week!

I'm Thrilled...

...that this drama came out this year! It's right up my alley; it has the right kind of comedy, that touch of cute romance, and that dose of friendship that good comedic dramas should have.

I'm so excited to see Shimura's father return--we learn in this episode that whatever he did helped end someone's life, and that Shimura's sister is scared to death of him. It makes me intrigued as to what exactly happened, and how Sakuraba and the Director are involved.

I was really impressed with Hiromitsu in this episode. We saw a range of emotions not seen from the Tachibana character as of yet. I liked that his character has a depth that we're only beginning to suss out. That's a strong point of this drama--everyone seems to have something that they're not proud of or a weakness that they need to overcome.

Interesting...

I'm really intrigued to see the relation of Sakuraba-sensei and Teppei's father, as well as the assistant teacher's relationship with the little boy. For the most part, this episode was humorous, but not filled with the never-give-up feeling that the first two episodes contained. Now that Tachibana knows the information about Shimura's father, how will he use it? It will be interesting to see if he uses it to make Shimura's life better or worse...

Another Good Episode

This episode had me roaring with laughter! Taipi is doing such a good job at being a goofball that it's becoming rather endearing. Also, most of the supporting cast is pulling its weight by bringing roundness to each of their characters. I have a feeling that this show is only going to get better, as it looks like the female officer and the Director may be scheming about something involving the students in the "S" class. I'm definitely looking forward to episode three, and finding out just what makes Tachibana who he is.

Interesting...

...things are going to happen from here on out, I think. I'm still not completely sold on a time-skip so early on in the drama, but if the Hong Sisters work their magic, I won't be too fazed by it.

In this episode, Da Ran finds out that her perceptions of Yeon Jae are not what they seem. Good. I was tired of seeing her all googly-eyed over him. I don't think he's a bad character, but I'm glad she found that he's not perfect.

I felt so awful for Kyung Joon in this episode. He's been there for Da Ran and she really doesn't appreciate it. I only wish we will get to see more of his personality, but because of the time-skip, mother-interfering twist, I don't think that will be possible for a while.

I completely dislike Yeon Jae's mother and her trust in Se Young. Honestly, putting two nasty characters together does nothing but equal disaster. I hope neither will succeed.

Overall, the drama isn't perfect, but I'm still hooked on it. I really can't wait to see what episode 6 will bring.
