I was wondering if I, an adult woman, can enjoy some Japanese high school drama. After watching this I am sure age doesn't play any role.
The first episode I saw I felt it was kind of silly, but when I got used to the style of humour used in this show I totally loved it. I laughed a lot, smiled a lot and even cried like a real teenager.
I think usually it's really hard to make a good tsundere character which you can root for, but Sano was really a great example and all his caring moments were so brilliant. This drama is 15 years old and I can say I really went back those 15 years while watching and was back at high school.
I say give it a chance! Especially if you like a good comedy combined with heartwarming moments, strong friendship stories and also a bit of tense in some scenes.
