touching and sad

The first episode was mostly about a depressed Hako and a happy Ayaka remembering their pasts and trying to make a step forward. After being released from jail, hako went to live in Yanaka with her good friend from jail, Ayaka. Both of them get along very well, one of them is still depressed and scared of the police while the other seems to be strong and always energetic. With the help of Ayaka, Hako is able to make the first step in order to change herself and her future. Hako's brother is getting married soon, and he asks from her to remove her name from the family registration. A hard thing for Hako to do but after discovering the truth about her father and what happened to him, she decides to sign the papers in order for her brother to be happy. I cried so much, from the first episode the acting is strong, there were no slamps and i did not feel like not watching. Somehow Hako is making me to want to follow her progress and her next steps that will lead her to escape from the dark future that she sees.

truly sad and a great first episode.

this is the first time that i watch Ooku, not the certain drama but generally anything related to it. It is a truly sad story. the way things evolved and how the life of this man changed ... honestly the acting is so superb. Quite some unexpected things happened... Sakai is excellent. even tahnaka is excellent. i have not seen him playing so well before. The music is so touching , even without subs i could understand everything. And the Iemitsu girl is really such a bitch. Mikako's acting shows exactly how big of a bitch she is at the moment.

wonderfully acted

The second episode of this drama revealed more to us about Aya-san's life with her husbnad and the way he treated her. We also got to see deeper into her soul. Hako also opened up a lot in this drama, slowly slowly the viewer is forming 'bonds' with the two heroines who are trying hard to adjust with their new life...some other things happened but i will avoid the spoilers.
