Sincerity is the only path to love
Yes the show brought us sincere love, the main couple’s romance was believable despite the age gap. Show was also without the usual C-drama drama, just pure fun and laughter.Story line: The show had a simple office romance story line. Yet I never found it draggy, didn’t have to fast forward any episodes and before I knew it I was at the last episode, still yearning for more. It was the cast that made it so enjoyable to watch, including all the supporting cast.
Cast: The chemistry between the ML and FML was fantastic. I liked that the show made GJX childish at times, but yet manly and mature at other times. The romance was well paced and not rushed, it was believable for an 8-year age gap. I liked that the show made GJX more of the “female” in the r/s while ZJY was the more dominant “male” role in the r/s. Especially the proposal and the ending scene where ZJY was the rider and not the pillion rider. Yet no matter how much older ZJY was, she still had her young, girlish side which was what GJX loved, and Gina Jin made it so natural. GJX’s growth towards maturity in the show was natural and not forced, and nothing too egoistical or dramatised like some other young boy/older gal kind of shows. Most importantly, GJX was great eye candy, had a great bod and was a jack of all trades (pilot license and all) - super swoon worthy. Other couples in the show were also fun to watch and not boring at all.
C-drama without the drama: For once the drama did NOT have: 1) an annoying mother/ mother in law that opposes the r/s the whole drama; 2) rival FML/ML who were scheming and horrible, trying to ruin the main couple’s r/s in the worst possible way (although rival FML was annoying and super sticky but she was harmless). Rival ML was cool though. I liked that his age and maturity was reflected in the way he looks at r/s as well; and 3) annoying antagonists who sticks around for many episodes, and show can’t get rid of them fast enough. No wonder the show was so pleasant to watch!
Music: Omg the entire OST is stuck in my head now. The Wang Zi Yi and Gina Jin opening song is terribly catchy.
Totally enjoyable, fun and fantastic watch. I could rewatch this show again in a heartbeat.

Just sit back and enjoy the fun in this gaming drama
This drama has some similarities to 1) Unique Lady and 2) Romance of Tiger and Rose - FL from modern world goes into a game/story and their personalities and planned roles stray away from their supposed characters in the game/story AND they also attract the male leads. The show is not perfect. It has many loopholes, stiff acting (from the ML which was a disappointment to me), uneven pacing, your usual breakups, and a rushed ending without much explanation, requiring the viewers to tap on their own imaginations in order to gain some satisfaction (Romance of Tiger and Rose was slightly better at such ending). BUT the show was interesting because it stayed true to its “gaming mode” in that it has tasks to be completed in order to unlock certain bonuses etc (I liked that aspect as that’s what we see in games). It also tried to explore themes such as reality vs virtual reality and how virtual reality is reality to some; characters who are meant to die need to die otherwise it upsets the balance; and character growth as the story plot develops, similar to what we see in some RPG games.
I personally ship the FL and Jack (the second ML was much better in acting than the ML who was too stiff). FL is also a relatively new actress but she acted fairly well to me so the ML just did not agree with me.
To watch this show, one cannot put too much thinking into the plot, explanation etc. Just sit back and watch for the fun of the drama.

A show you cannot fast forward
I shall be honest. I am not someone who would pick C-dramas with deep plotting, twists and suspense as my first choice. I would rather choose the usual light-hearted, rom-com C-dramas anytime where I can switch off my brain and enjoy the cliches and sweet, happy endings. So I tend to choose the heavier C-dramas carefully given I am just not into them.I watched Luo Yun Xi’s recent 2 modern C-dramas (the heartbreaking scientist show and this one) which were, to me, heavier dramas that you had to keep listening in to the dialogue in order to catch the plot development. While I was dragging my feet as I watched his other scientist show, I was certainly not dragging mine in this show. From the get go in episode 1, the plot kicks off and viewers are immediately brought into the plot, unable to fast forward given we need to keep watching each scene to find out what happens next (Every time the plot develops, the familiar suspense music kicks off in the background as well until it got stuck in my head). At the same time, the plot wasn’t too heavy for my liking. It struck a good balance with the light hearted parts of the drama, as well as against the romance/bromance of the characters.
As usual Luo Yun Xi’s acting was great. He held the show with his steadfast and smart character and made up for Cheng Xiao’s beginner acting skills (Not that she had bad acting, it’s just that due to her skills, their chemistry wasn’t 10/10). Strangely I found she was stiffer in this show compared to her earlier gaming show with Xu Kai. I think she suits the cutesy role better at this point.
Overall, I would recommend the show.

One of the best dramas with fitting sound effects/ OST
I watched this show quite awhile back but decided to leave a review as I find myself still listening to the OST (and not sick of it). My favourite songs are “Whisperer” by Liang Jie, “I See You” by Qian Xi and “Crush On” by Lu Si Ying. In my opinion, the sound effects and music choices in this drama aced it - not that these were the nicest sounds/songs ever heard - but in that the choices were very apt and suited the flow and mood of the drama, without being cheesy; and I never got tired of the music played in the background. The sound effects were a whole new level; I’ve not come across C-dramas with such specific and fitting sounds to highlight the moments thus far; and though some might find they were a bit overused as the drama unfolds, I personally thought it was refreshing to hear them.Like some other commenters/ reviewers, I didn’t really like the way the drama ended but I guess it’s because it’s a C-drama and they had to be cautious and sensitive about the switcheroos. The show’s switching bodies plot was nothing new and at times quite cliche. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how the main leads, Liang Jie and Zhang Xincheng effectively brought the humour and drama out of it. Especially Zhang Xincheng, he totally nailed Liang Jie’s facial expressions and body gestures and I kept laughing out loud every single time. In my opinion Liang Jie has a knack for creating great chemistry with her MLs (Zhao Lushi is the other actress who is good at this) so both leads carried the show really well. I would recommend watching this drama for a good laugh.

The male leads stole the show
As what other reviewers/ commenters have mentioned, this drama has a somewhat unique storyline compared to your typical C-dramas. It has romance (of course), elements of mystery, investigation, crime, medical, science fiction and fantasy. But the highlights of what made this drama unique to me, were how it touched on the topic of death without being overly cliche, and also the fantastic chemistry and character build up between the male leads. The 4 male leads - JBJ, QC, QT, William were the stars of the show. The friendship, dynamics and “love triangles” between JBJ, QC, QT and William were fun to watch and something I’ve not come across often in C-dramas (usually it’s just your usual brotherhood or bromance between 2 male leads). The character developments of all the leads were done well and their bickering and lines were always on point (there was even a scene where JBJ openly took a dig at the writer of this drama on typical drama cliches).
Overall the show was paced well. I never felt bored or felt the need to fast forward as every episode had mini sub-plots and characters which fed well into the bigger and underlying plot of the drama, as the 4 male leads (and FLs) worked together to solve each case to get them to the finale. Worth to watch.
Ps: I hope to see the actor who played QC in more lead roles (I watched Sassy Beauty right after this show :p).
