This was so bad, it wasn't funny at all. The characters were wasted. The story had potential. Han Gil Ro / Han Pil Hoon had 100% potential, but he was only used for like 5%. This was terrible. I think I know now why Joo Won doesn't mix romance and action in his works. This was a flop and he learned from it. But what I keep lamenting is the bad bad bad waste of potential. The writer, the produce, hell, even the female lead - none of it was up to standard. It's called 7th Grade Civil Servant for a reason - they all behave like they're in 7th Grade at high school. The acting was awesome. but the material the actors had to work with was nothing much. I was so disappointed and it hurts me to say this about Joo Won's drama. I like chaebol romances and I like spy investigation stories. I like where there is plenty romance in the investigation stories. But this was a mess. Oh, the potential!!!!!! I really thought they could have done with Han Pil Hoon what they did with Lee Jae Ha in "King 2 Hearts" - the playboy grows into a man who is able and smart enough to run rings around all the bad guys. He's playful ans sweet, but dangerous. Joo Won also approaches romance like Lee Seung Gi so I could see how 7th Grade could have been great. It falls short and it's bothering me too much.
