First off, we can only blame the low budget on this drama for everything that happens lmaoo.
I really recommend this if you want a good laugh, even if it's laughing at how weird the drama is (which I did a lot).

STORY:
Time travel story, Zhang Peng gets into a poolside accident and he gets transferred into Crown Princess Zhang Peng Peng's body. He has to deal with his new identity and is stuck in a 'love triangle' (or love quad i guess), though he doesn't really care about any of it since he isn't attracted to males (in fact, he tries living his life enjoying quality time with the other females in the harem using his new identity as a woman to get physically close with them). As for the relationships: Crown prince Qi Sheng likes his brother's wife, while the Ninth prince likes the crown princess (peng peng). The story focuses on these relationships and how they affect the characters into doing what they do. Don't think there's no real point to the drama though, because there are still the generic schemes and power struggles seen in dynasty dramas, though they may be hidden under the comedy.
I think even though the drama was strange at times, it still followed a unique plot and the struggle between peng peng and the crown prince's relationship. Also I think the highlight of the show would have been the language - peng peng often says things in english like 'im sorry' or in korean like 'oppa', and 'eottoke', giving us a good laugh.
Here's a hint though: there are actually 2 different endings to the story, so make sure to see both if you feel like you need more explanation to the ending.

ACTING:
I wanna give an applaud to the actors, they did a great job portraying their roles. Crystal does well acting like a man in a woman's body, and her korean and english really cracked me up. Peter does well in portraying a stoic and emotionless crown prince, but also does a great job at showing how an emotionless man can show emotions too. Side characters also do well at assimilating into their roles and acting comedic as well.

MUSIC:
Surprisingly, there were good songs that I would voluntarily listen to even outside of the drama. Sometimes I felt the music being repetitive but that's not really a problem. The point is, they were able to set the mood in the drama.

REWATCH/OVERALL:
I'm not one to rewatch dramas, and I considered this a short fling to watch since I was bored out of my mind and nothing else really spoke out to me. This drama is better to watch if you want a good laugh while also enjoying some plot here and there. Overall, I would say this drama was unexpectedly 'good' enough that I finished watching all of it. The first ending was a bit lacking, the second one more of a cliffhanger, but I've heard that in low budget dramas like these we can only expect these type of endings. I for one wouldn't regard the first ending as the ultimate ending, since the second ending had more added to it.
I also have my own theory that I commented on the second ending episode on drama cat's video on youtube (that's where you can watch it!), but you can ask me here if you want to know what I thought about the ending :)

I can easily call this one of my new favorite modern cdramas. This is also one of the only airing dramas I have watched in years. Usually I don't go for crime dramas but the serial murder case in this drama was really interesting. Add in psychometry and DID and you get this drama :)

Plot: Our ML Yifei is asked by his police friend to use his ability to see a person's past by touching their hand in order to solve a serial murder case while the FL curiously follows this case and updates the public through the news. They each have their own unspeakable problems/past which eventually draw them closer to one another. They work together to unveil the motive behind the serial killer, revealing more as the drama progresses.

Acting/cast: I've never seen any of these actors or actresses but they carried out their roles well! Especially Nina Wang and the serial killer (watch the drama to find out who it is hoho). Nina's portrayal as a woman with DID really showed her acting range and ability to portray completely different personalities. As for her actual character, Han Bing, I guess I would say her decisions were a bit exasperating (aka not informing the police in order to get an interview with a suspect and so on -_-). Also this drama has some very nice realistic/emotional/not cringy crying scenes (dad-son emotional jail cell convo ahem).

Music: Suspense music was well played, but other than that there weren't any songs that stood out to me. However there was one song sung by a character that was related to the case and it was pretty catchy lol.

Overall a nice watch with good pacing, please give it a try :)

This is my first MDL review, since this drama was long i felt attached after i finished it. I honesty was expecting smth to cause me to drop since my mom kept telling me the story lost purpose so she dropped it, but I pulled through!

STORY:
If you wanna know what to expect and how the story progresses, then read this.
Taiyuan arc was probably the longest and least questionable arc. Fuyao and Wuji first meet in Xuanyuan Sect, and surprise the male lead falls in love first! She gets caught up in a love triangle between her, eldest senior brother, and Peiyuan who likes eldest senior brother. Wuji always comes through and saves her when she’s schemed against by Peiyuan. Wuji was very playful in this arc while pretending to be the heir apparent of Taiyuan, it was really cute how he interacted with fuyao. They both end up meeting in the imperial palace later, with plots involving the prime minister. That’s when they both really started showing they liked each other. But the go separate ways in the end.

Tianquan arc was kinda short, basically Fuyao gets caught in another scheme due to Folian who likes Wuji and she finds out his real identity. She also gets into trouble with Wuji’s royal brother (a nasty snake i tell you). I feel like after the whole Folian incident she forgave Wuji a bit too easily considering she thought he liked someone else..

Tiansha arc creeps in as Fuyao leaves Tianquan and ends up becoming the ‘mayor’ of this desert city, another short section of the story. I kinda found that part of the story out of place, but it did show character growth and a lot of romance. It also focuses on the side characters, and how Fuyao’s group of friends end up helping Zhan Beiye who is plotted against by his two royal brothers. This arc was just a bit sadder than other arcs regarding the romance factor.

Xuanji arc is almost as short as Tianquan arc, with one rain scene I found a bit questionable lol. The key to this arc is Fuyao’s real background, though it was pretty predictable as the drama went on. What’s interesting is that Xuanji kingdom is run by females.

The ending arc was really rushed and finally goes into detail about Fuyao’s curses. This is probably the most lacking part of the drama as it was so rushed, and then the finale really made me go what the heck because of one character’s sad end (some of u will know who i’m talking about) and the final ending slammed in.

ACTING:
The acting was great, each character played their part well. Yangmi and Ethan had great chemistry, and honestly I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like Ethan (another one of my mom’s reasons for dropping, bc she thought he wasn’t handsome..sigh) but he grew on me~ I fell in love with his smile, and his portrayal of helplessness in the last arc was so impacting it made me cry. Yangmi and Ethan both did well portraying playful/mischievous characters at the beginning to more serious and powerful figures at the end.
Weiguang did a great job as Zhan Beiye, a dashing general who cares deeply for his people. I almost screamed when he made his first appearance bc he was so handsome riding his horse and in armor hehe.
Lai Yi also did wonderfully as the Heavenly doctor, someone who went through hell and had a lot of hatred as someone who sought revenge. I didn’t give him much attention in Three miles of Peach Blossoms, but this time his role carried a lot more weight in the drama. I look forward to seeing him in more dramas :)
Liu Yijin who played Qizhen the prime minister also did a great job of being a villain. I had also seen him shortly as a evil man in Lost Love in Times, though he didn’t have so much screen time. Anyways, he’s great at acting as a villain lolol.

MUSIC:
To be honest I barely noticed the OSTs except for two songs, one being "A Love is Hard to Wish For” sung by Lala Hsu.It was great for emotional scenes in the drama, and Lala Hsu is a great singer (I love her other songs). The other song is “Window” also an emotional song with beautiful lyrics.

REWATCH & OVERALL:
I only scored lower for rewatch because i’m not the type to rewatch dramas since I don’t even have enough time to watch new ones ;-; Also, if you really wanna go through 66 episodes again then go ahead - skipping is the key lol. Though it was indeed long, that’s also what caused me to feel so attached. I felt like I was traveling with Fuyao and her companions across the 5 kingdoms and facing adventures with them. The main characters also brought out themes highlighting the human heart. After finishing it, i really felt at a loss for what to watch next bc I was still having post-drama side effects.
