I don't know any of the actors from this and have basically no clue about japanese drama, so this review based only on my feelings for these 10 episodes.

When I first read the summary and decided to give it a try, I had not big hopes to really like it or so. But the couple of first episodes (especially the really first one) shown me that the plot has good potentional to be a awesome drama. Sadly in the middle, I was pretty bored by how the characters acted. But thanks to the last episode (which was awesome!) I came to really like the story.

What I really liked about the drama, were the inner speechs of the main leads. Especially the thoughts from Saburo helped me to understand him better, because I really just hardly saw any emotion on his face, when he wasn't involved in an operation.
I also think that Akiko Suzuki was annoying at some parts and way to selfish or protective.

Is there any music to name, that I overheared? Because I can really not name any specific music besides the great instrumentals that fit perfectly to every scene they were used. Awesome!

In the end, I don't know if I'll re-watch it in near future, but when I'll ever do it, maybe I understand the whole drama right (because I think some things just got lost in my mind).

Please give it a try like me! I think "Kumo no Kaidan (Staircase of Clouds)" is absolute no time waste.

I just completed another japanese drama, this time none other then "Kasuka na Kanojo" (Ghostly Girl). I had a really great time watching it. The whole ghost themed story was really fun and with the facing of problems in a school class, I learned for myself some things for life.

Like I said the whole story is great. On one side, there is a Mr. Kamiyama - the new teacher of class 3-2 - who has problems to connect with his students and on top of that, he can see ghosts. On the other side, we have Akane - she's a ghost with no memory of her former life - she's bond to the new home of Mr. Kamiyama. While Kamiyama try to get control over his class, Akane wants to know more about her past.
The drama deals with a lot of students problems and how their teachers - Kamiyama and Mrs. Kawaii - try to solve them.

The characters are really loveable. Especially Mr. Kamiyama and Akane. The whole supporting cast is - in it's own ways - great. I think the characters as a whole have a really good progess during the 11 episodes.

What should I say about the music? I really enjoyed it to the very last minute. It was fitting.

A really great drama with a lot of likeable characters and a good story. I came to really like the main actors. I might rewatch it.

I just finished the movie about 10 minutes ago and I will try to find some words to express my feelings about it (which is kind of hard).

At first, I want to make clear that this movie isn't for everyone. You need to have the right humor to like and understand it (Is there even something to understand behind the movie, I'm not sure).

There isn't any specific story, what you should already know after reading the summary, the movie has an overall little plot that follows trough it, but it's not needed.
It has 3 or 4 main "stories" which are put into these 21 short episodes. Between the episdes they play some short cuts from the opening speech and from some episodes.

The movie is divided into two parts named "Side A" and "Side B". After the first part of the movie you got a 3 minutes long "Intermisson", to prepare for the second part (Drink or eat something). When you thought the first part was wierd, the second one is much more wild and bizzare.
Also I want to add, some of the scenes are may inapporiate, kind of sexual and nasty for you, so be prepared for that.

The actors (in my opinion) did a good job. I personally totally buy their acting and I'm still not sure how you even can do such things and still being serious while doing it. Really, how?

There wasn't really any music to name, except some music for specific scenes to dance or relax (?) to.

In the end, I would watch the movie again, with friends who haven't watch it now and wait for their facial expressions and what they think about it. I'm already excited for it!

So it's a overall good movie, when you can deal with the given scenes and have the kind of humor the people behind the movie have. Give it a try, when you're interested in it.

When I first read about that drama, I wasn't sure if I should watch it because I'm totally over with the whole "Cinderella" Theme and I didn't know any of the actors (I'm new to the whole Japanese drama thing), so I wouldn't miss anything right? I don't know why I started it then but I'm glad that I did it.
Overall it's an really good drama. The story was not certainly new but the idea to tell the story of an older woman with no fashion sense who fall in love with an young BMX rider was (at least for me) refreshing and fun.

I liked every character that they included and to add an homosexual one was awesome. The little side stories were fun. But I had some bad problems with Sakuras over the top teenage like behaving. I can understand that she is totally in love, hadn't a boyfriend for a long time and that Hiroto is actually so young, but please she is almost 40 and not a teen. That's the only thing that really annoyed me from episode to episode.

The music was a good fit for the drama sweet and fun to listen to. I wasn't bored at all. Great!

In the end, I would watch it again. It was fun to watch and everyone was (more or less) likeable. A good thing happend here.
